REASONS TO BELIEVE IN JESUS CHRIST AS THE SON OF GOD (PART 1)

        There are scriptural proofs with regards to the person of Jesus Christ that allude to him being the Son( embodiment of the mind of) of God . The bible describes this as a mystery 1 Tim 3:16 NKJV says   “ And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh, Justified in the Spirit, Seen by angels, Preached among the Gentiles, Believed on in the world, Received up in glory. “  There are messianic prophesies with regards to the divinity of Jesus Christ : saying He
-WOULD BE THE “SEED OF A WOMAN” Gen 3:15 KJV ” And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.” This was fulfilled in  Gal 4:4 NKJV ” But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law,”
-THE PROMISED SEED OF ABRAHAM : Gen 18:18 KJV ” Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him?” Fulfilled in Acts 3:25 NIV “And you are heirs of the prophets and of the covenant God made with your fathers. He said to Abraham, 'Through your offspring all peoples on earth will be blessed.'”
-THE PROMISED SEED OF ISAAC  Gen 17:19 KJV “And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him.” Corroborate  by the new testament scripture Matt 1:2 NIV “Abraham was the father of Isaac, Isaac the father of Jacob, Jacob the father of Judah and his brothers,”
-THE PROMISED SEED OF JACOB  Num 24:17 KJV ” I shall see him, but not now: I shall behold him, but not nigh: there shall come a Star out of Jacob, and a Sceptre shall rise out of Israel, and shall smite the corners of Moab, and destroy all the children of Sheth.” Confirmed by the new testament scripture Luke 3:34 NKJV ” the son of Jacob, the son of Isaac, the son of Abraham, the son of Terah, the son of Nahor,”
- WILL DESCEND FROM THE TRIBE OF JUDAH Gen 49:10 KJV “ The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.” Confirmed by the new testament scripture Luke 3:33 NIV  “the son of Amminadab, the son of Ram, the son of Hezron, the son of Perez,  the son of Judah,”
- WILL BE THE HEIR TO THE THRONE OF DAVID : Isa 9:7 NIV “Of the increase of his government and peace there will be no end.He will reign on David's throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the Lord Almighty will accomplish this”.
-THE PLACE OF HIS BIRTH Mic 5:2 KJV  “But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.”  Confirmed in the New Testament scripture Matt 2:1 KJV “Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,”
-BORN OF A VIRGIN : Isa 7:14-15 NIV “Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.  “  Confirmed in  Matt 1:18 KJV
 “ Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.”
As you receive Jesus Christ as lord and savior and read this now receive grace for an undeniable encounter with God’s presence in Jesus name.

CONSEQUENCES OF LACK OF FAITH

It is the substance ( title deed) of things hoped for ,the evidence of things not seen (Hebrew 11:1) .The Bible warns against not having faith in God. Lack of faith is equal to calling God a liar and untrustworthy. COMMON CAUSES OF DISUNITY.

Proverbs 29:22 NLTBible        Disunity is defined as : disagreement and conflict within a group. It is the greatest hindrance to the promotion of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Disunity creates an avenue for Satan to promote sin.       The causes of disunity are not farfetched ,they include : Unhealthy Crave for power or self- promotion. Whenever there is an unhealthy pursuit of influence in a family or group it results in resistance. Self-promotion gives birth to unfair practices and injustices. In Numbers 12: 1-15  Moses' sister Miriam and Aaron rebelled against him desiring to rule by force and in Numbers 16 :1-35 Korah led an insurrection against Moses desiring to be part of leadership.
