INCREASE YOUR IMPACT THROUGH NETWORKING

Rev,Michael Benson Ajayi
Acts 18:9-10  KJV “Then spake the Lord to Paul in the night by a vision, Be not afraid, but speak, and hold not thy peace:  For I am with thee, and no man shall set on thee to hurt thee: for I have much people in this city.”
1 Sam 22:1-2 “ So David got away and escaped to the Cave of Adullam. When his brothers and others associated with his family heard where he was, they came down and joined him.  Not only that, but all who were down on their luck came around — losers and vagrants and misfits of all sorts. David became their leader. There were about four hundred in all. “
1 Sam 23:13 “ So David and his men got out of there. There were about six hundred of them. They left Keilah and kept moving, going here, there, wherever — always on the move.”
The English dictionary defines networking as: connect as or operate with a network.
Interact with others to exchange information and develop professional or social contacts.
Networking is an indispensible medium for the fulfillment of divine purpose . God sends persons into our lives based on His plans for us. Each person we meet is an information bank from whom we can draw relevant information needed to advance in life. We do not meet by accident; rather it is divinely orchestrated to facilitate an answer to a prayer.
How you manage your contacts is of utmost importance in your life’s journey. Each person is as important as the other and for king David the anointed King of Israel, it was a band of misfits and losers who were in desperate need of help, and were later transformed into one of the most formidable military machine that ever existed. He was fleeing from King Saul who wanted him dead for no justifiable offence.
God’s plan was to surround David with men who had nothing to lose. They were risk takers and dynamic: these qualities are indispensible in making progress in uncharted territories. King David had something they needed; leadership, while they had something he needed; security.
You can only go as far as the strength of your network. Your net worth is determined by the strength of those who constitute your network.  None is to be underestimated; it is the key to breaking the yoke of stagnation and unnecessary delays.
Jesus’ commandment to Paul insisting that he preached in  Corinth which was a difficult terrain assuring him of the support of Christ’s faithful one of whom was Crispus whose influence led to the salvation of many   Acts 18:8 says KJV  “ And Crispus, the chief ruler of the synagogue, believed on the Lord with all his house; and many of the Corinthians hearing believed, and were baptized.” This scripture underscores the importance of networking in the fulfillment of our purpose . Most deliverance cases can easily be solved through networking , you mustn’t drown in your dreams , there’s always someone with a better idea on how  to solve a difficult problem with much ease. Prov 27:10 TLB  “ Never abandon a friend-either yours or your father's. Then you won't need to go to a distant relative for help in your time of need.” God has already answered that prayer however its result would only manifest when we humble ourselves and reconcile with close friends .
Prayer : Heavenly Father, forgive me for I have sinned against you, I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised for my salvation and I receive Him as lord and savior and receive grace for uncommon help in Jesus name.
