WHAT HAS ABRAHAM FOUND

Gen. 15 : 6 "And he believed in the Lord; and he counted it to him for righteousness."
       The patriarch Abraham (c. 1996 BC-1821 BC) the son of Ur is regarded as one of the most influential historical personalities . He is the founding father of  the world's three largest monotheistic religions ( Christianity , Islam , Judaism )   Over 3 billion people in the modern world cite Abraham as the "father" of their religion . He was promised by God that his descendants would be as numerous as the stars of the sky, despite the ongoing conflicts between  the Jews and the Muslims with regards to birthrights . 
    The documents of the three religions agree on some fundamentals with regards to the Abraham's faith . They all  agree on Abraham's salvation by his faith in God. ' For the Scriptures tell us, “Abraham believed God, and God counted him as righteous because of his faith.” Romans 4:3 NLT
Bible 
    Was it Abraham's good works that  led to his salvation.? By what law would his behaviours been measured since he was not a member of any religious group ?. There was no Islamic Koran or Jewish Torah to guide his behavior or church . 
    We conclude that it was not Abraham's good works that led to his salvation. His sins were unilaterally put out of sight by God. If you recount , Abraham was cohabiting with his half sister Sarai later known as Sarah . He was a practitioner of a traditional form of worship from which many cultures borrow their pattern of worship. Despite this ,God declared him righteous . King David spoke of the blessedness of the person whose  sins are out of sight by God. “Oh, what joy for those whose disobedience is forgiven, whose sins are put out of sight." Romans 4:7 NLT Bible 
   The blessedness was bequeathed on Abraham before he was circumcised or offered his son isaac on the alter . Meaning it was Abraham's faith in God that qualified him as righteous. This means the religious and nonreligious who claim to have Abraham as their spiritual mentor will be saved by the same  principle of faith ( total reliance on God for salvation) .
      Circumcision was a sign of faith in God likewise the attempt to sacrifice his son Isaac , likewise , the religious Jew and non religious are made righteous by faith in God. If that was not so it will be wrong to say that Abraham is in heaven .  It was not Abraham's religious duties that made him righteous but faith in God .
   "Clearly, God’s promise to give the whole earth to Abraham and his descendants was based not on his obedience to God’s law, but on a right relationship with God that comes by faith."  Romans 4:13 NLT Bible  
 "And when God counted him as righteous, it wasn’t just for Abraham’s benefit. It was recorded for our benefit, too, assuring us that God will also count us as righteous if we believe in him, the one who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead. He was handed over to die because of our sins, and he was raised to life to make us right with God.

Prayer : Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe that Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Ghost and power to make great progress in the face of much adversity in Jesus name .

CONSEQUENCES OF LACK OF FAITH

COMMON CAUSES OF DISUNITY.

Proverbs 29:22 NLTBible        Disunity is defined as : disagreement and conflict within a group. It is the greatest hindrance to the promotion of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Disunity creates an avenue for Satan to promote sin.       The causes of disunity are not farfetched ,they include : Unhealthy Crave for power or self- promotion. Whenever there is an unhealthy pursuit of influence in a family or group it results in resistance. Self-promotion gives birth to unfair practices and injustices. In Numbers 12: 1-15  Moses' sister Miriam and Aaron rebelled against him desiring to rule by force and in Numbers 16 :1-35 Korah led an insurrection against Moses desiring to be part of leadership.
