GOD WILL OVERTURN EVIL VERDICTS

 Then they came near, and spake before the king concerning the king’s decree; Hast thou not signed a decree, that every man that shall ask a petition of any God or man within thirty days, save of thee, O king, shall be cast into the den of lions? The king answered and said, The thing is true, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which altereth not." Daniel 6:12 

     God is sovereign and chooses to do things as it pleases him. Very often he waits for  situation to become extremely complicated beyond human comprehension and control before he acts as a demonstration of his might. The bible says in Jeremiah 32:27 " 27 Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?" 

   God does everything in accordance of the fulfilment of his purpose , the scriptures says in Ephesians 1:11 "In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:' God's plan for the introduction of true worship in Babylon was for Daniel to be brought into the kings palace and for him to grow through the rank and file of governance . 

    The most effective way to promote the gospel is through effective participation in governance, that's why he commands his people to get involved in government .

   As a politician Daniel stood for the truth because he feared God . He was committed to prayer : prayer has no substitute and we should never be too busy to pray .because our  lives depends on prayer and the Word.. Doing this and standing  for truth in public office comes with much opposition from the authorities.

   Corrupt leaders seek for ways to legitimise their crimes by putting in place draconian laws that do not favour the righteous . Daniel became a victim of such a law which was punishable by death . His peers desired to occupy his office and planned to eliminate him. 

   At times like this one will seem to complain Psalm 35:11 "False witnesses  did rise up; they laid to  my charge things that I  knew not.".. verse 17" Lord, how long  wilt thou look on?  rescue my soul from  their destructions, my  darling from the lions.  " Daniel was thrown into the lions den but God wouldn't let the lions kill him. God did not stop his arrest, God seemed to say 'Devil give him your best shot, no weapon fashioned against him shall prosper. " Daniel was bound by the verdicts of the supreme court of the land . 

   Eventually, he was saved by the lord and returned back to occupy a higher office .(Daniel 6:19-24)  Refuse to be intimidated by the strength of the enemy because whatever they have, came from God who happens to be your heavenly father .

   He will overturn every evil verdict in your favour , the scriptures says in Ezekiel 21:27 'I will overturn,  overturn, overturn, it:  and it shall be no more,  until he come whose  right it is; and I will give  it him." there will be no peace for the enemy until you occupy your rightful place . 

Prayer: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power for peace in  crisis.

CONSEQUENCES OF LACK OF FAITH

COMMON CAUSES OF DISUNITY.

Proverbs 29:22 NLTBible        Disunity is defined as : disagreement and conflict within a group. It is the greatest hindrance to the promotion of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Disunity creates an avenue for Satan to promote sin.       The causes of disunity are not farfetched ,they include : Unhealthy Crave for power or self- promotion. Whenever there is an unhealthy pursuit of influence in a family or group it results in resistance. Self-promotion gives birth to unfair practices and injustices. In Numbers 12: 1-15  Moses' sister Miriam and Aaron rebelled against him desiring to rule by force and in Numbers 16 :1-35 Korah led an insurrection against Moses desiring to be part of leadership.
