MANIFESTATION OF THE SONS OF GOD

         Against the back drop of recent occurrences the world over most of which have further tainted the image of believers in God , it has become imperative to draw the line in order to distinguish between those who claim to be followers of christ and the sons of God. The level of confidence held by many in society in religion being the source of peace and positive social transformation is at its lowest ebb. What was meant to be a panacea has metamorphosed into a major cancer in society the world over.Improvement in human life has become of less value to religious pundits : extremism and radicalism has taken center stage as opposed to the message of peace and love that is synonymous with the message of salvation.
          God has given us a yardstick in scriptures with which a proper evaluation can be made to separate the wheat from the chaff given that the clergy and laity has become an all comers affair. One common denominator in all this is a universal yearning for the manifestation of the sons of God.  This hunger for men and women of repute driven by a godly disposition is in itself proof that such persons  exist.
     Jesus describes his followers as the light of the world and the salt of the earth. Salt is a seasoning, preservative and cleanser ,it is also a means of exchange. It adds value to life. Light illuminates , exposing the essence of an object, it gladdens the heart and eliminates the element of secrecy which is the most important ingredient for graft to take place. Therefore,  the presence of the  true followers of Jesus should bring nothing but added value to the community where they are found. The scriptures say there is joy when the righteous are in leadership .
                The born again experience is a life transforming process that diminishes the selfish nature of man. When a person receives christ as saviour,  the spirit of the messiah unites with that of the believer transforming him or her into a messiah of some sort. The scriptures say in Obadiah  1:21, in the last days saviours  shall arise on the earth, this is in reference to those led by the selfless, unconditional loving spirit of  Jesus Christ. These persons are referred to as sons of God. They are not the average church going christian with the trappings of a religious devotee. They were once insignificant but their irrevocable commitment to live for Christ by the leading of the Holy Spirit has transformed them into vessels of honuor fit for the master's use (2Timothy2:20-21). 
        There are two types of  vessels  in the world,those satisfied with the status quo of answering 'present' in  religious gathering and those who have chosen to become world changers through the power of the spirit of love. They are the sons of God with a mandate to transform souls into vessels of honour that scriptures may be fulfilled as written in Hosea 1:10, Romans 9:26 AMP  "And it shall be that in the very place where it was said to them, You are not My people, they shall be called sons of the living God."
        Romans  8:14 AMP says 'For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God' . Until they take their rightful place in human affairs the world will not know peace Isaiah 32:15 -20 . The scripture says in Romans 8:19 AMP " For [even the whole] creation (all nature) waits expectantly and longs earnestly for God's sons to be made known [waits for the revealing, the disclosing of their sonship]." They are characterized by love, joy (gladness), peace, patience (an even temper, forbearance), kindness, goodness(benevolence),  faithfulness, Gentleness (meekness, humility) and self-control (self-restraint, continence) These are the qualities of spirit -led persons.  .Galatians 5:22-23 AMP 
     The church places more emphasis  on speaking in tongues ,benevolence and working of miracles but these gifts are grossly insufficient in changing lives (1cor 13:1-3), the sad effect of this misconception is evident in our society where the proliferation of such churches  over character molding institutions has only brought nothing but pain to society. Society yearns for character-molders : that's the mission of the sons of God. It took Daniel and his three friends being led by the Spirit to transform ancient Babylon, it also took Joseph to transform Egypt. The world awaits you.Receive  the spirit of son of God.(John1:12).

COMMON CAUSES OF DISUNITY.

Proverbs 29:22 NLTBible        Disunity is defined as : disagreement and conflict within a group. It is the greatest hindrance to the promotion of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Disunity creates an avenue for Satan to promote sin.       The causes of disunity are not farfetched ,they include : Unhealthy Crave for power or self- promotion. Whenever there is an unhealthy pursuit of influence in a family or group it results in resistance. Self-promotion gives birth to unfair practices and injustices. CONSEQUENCES OF LACK OF FAITH

Believe!”John 20:27 NLTBible     Faith is the guarantee of the manifestation an unseen reality . It is the reason behind the hope we have in God and the fulfilment of his promises. It is the substance ( title deed) of things hoped for ,the evidence of things not seen (Hebrew 11:1) .The Bible warns against not having faith in God. Lack of faith is equal to calling God a liar and untrustworthy.
