YOU ARE TOO GIFTED TO BE STRANDED
By Michael Benson Ajayi.
Matt 7:11-12 NKJV “If you then, being evil, know how to
give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in
heaven give good things to those who ask Him!”
The salvation experience is all
encompassing involving the total rejuvenation of a person in all ramifications.
Its impact on life is tangible and transcendental in comparison with any human
experience on earth.
It goes beyond the forgiveness of sins:
it is a participation in the elements that constitute the divinity of Christ.
The scriptures say in Matt7:11-12 that our Heavenly Father gives ‘good things’ to those who ask Him. The phrase ‘good things’ is a Greek word ‘agathos’ which means benefits , well, Good(s).In luke11:13
this term is used to describe the Holy Spirit.
This is a pointer to the existence of
gifts accrual to us by reason of the salvation experience. These gifts are
made available through the Holy Spirit. He is the tangible manifestation of the
goodness of God on earth. Once you have the Holy Spirit, you automatically have
access to all that is needed to fulfill one’s divine purpose on earth. Whenever we request
anything from God, His desire is that we asked to be given the Holy Spirit. David
understood this when he said “the lord is my potion in the land of the living” (Psalm142:5) this declaration was
made while he was hiding in a cave haven been deposed in a coup d ‘eta without any source of income and
with so many mouths to feed. Instead of being overwhelmed by depression, he
received supernatural supplies in the wilderness through the Holy Spirit.
The goal of our redemption is to
have a personal relationship with the Holy Ghost (Ga.3:14). He is the origin of
energy. Scientists have debated on the creation of the universe using various
models but they shy away from the debate on the origin of energy: it transcends
the human intellect. Assuming there was a Big Bang as most scientists
erroneously claim, they all unilaterally agree that it will require tremendous
energy to actualize this process but they dare not talk about the origin of
energy because this will point to a creator.
Through Einstein’s energy
theory, it has been proven that with sufficient energy something could be made
to come out of nothing. The Holy Spirit is the originator of energy and greater
than the highest level of energy imaginable. When we receive the Holy Spirit, our
weaknesses no longer counts (Acts1:8) because in our weaknesses is His strength brought into fore to the glory of the Heavenly Father (2Cor:12:9).
Due to the prevalence of satanic cults in the
church masquerading as ministers of the gospel, the importance of the place of
the Holy Ghost in the life of the born again Christian can’t be overemphasized. He gives us
spiritual gifts according to our needs. There are diversities of gifts but the
same spirit. None is superior to the other. 1
Cor 12:8-11 TLB “To one person
the Spirit gives the ability to give wise advice; someone else may be
especially good at studying and teaching, and this is his gift from the same
Spirit. He gives special faith to another and to someone else the power to heal
the sick. He gives power for doing
miracles to some, and to others power to prophesy and preach. He gives someone
else the power to know whether evil spirits are speaking through those who
claim to be giving God's messages-or whether it is really the Spirit of God who
is speaking. Still another person is able to speak in languages he never
learned; and others, who do not know the language either, are given power to understand
what he is saying. It is the same and only Holy Spirit who gives all these
gifts and powers, deciding which each one of us should have.” A man’s gift makes room for him and propels him into
greatness (Prov 18:16) therefore the born again Christian is too gifted to be
stranded. Receive the Holy Spirit.
