HOW TO WIN THE BATTLE IN SPIRITUAL WARFARE

Luke 11:21-23 NKJV “When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own palace, his goods are in peace. But when a stronger than he comes upon him and overcomes him, he takes from him all his armor in which he trusted, and divides his spoils.” 
         There is a battle between Satan’s kingdom and the church of Christ. This battle is for the souls of men as the second coming of Christ approaches. Satan is seeking to deceive as many persons as possible into rejecting the gospel of Jesus Christ and take them to hell with him.
           He has a subtle way of doing this through man-made religion. Jesus came to pave the way for humanity to have a relationship with the Father not religion. He opposed religion in its entirety throughout His earthly ministry (Matt23) and replaced it with the concept of son-ship (John 1:12) where we become joint-heirs with Him. Under this concept, salvation is by grace through faith and requires no inputs from man. This happens when we receive Jesus Christ as our lord and saviour (Rom 10:9) and qualifies us to be partakers of the blessings of those called saints. Under the dispensation of grace, sainthood isn’t conferred on an individual by man but is a status that is bequeathed on us as part of the inheritance we’ve received through Christ(Col1:12).
             It was absolutely necessary that a sacrifice be made for the salvation of mankind for that is the only logical reason to guarantee our salvation. Jesus’ crucifixion, transition to the place of the dead and resurrection bodily gives hope to the believer now and in the afterlife. Sin operates through the human flesh, and the consequence for sin in the flesh is death, therefore, Jesus’ death bodily suffices as a means to justify our salvation.  
             Satan fights against this by claiming Jesus never truly existed and those scriptures that date back two thousand years ago can’t be considered as authentic enough. Proponents of this logic are ignorantly implying that the prophet Abraham never existed because his history predates the bodily incarnation of Christ. Denying the historicity of Christ is like denying that of Moses and Abraham. The second way Satan fights against the believer is by saying Christ did not come in human flesh. By so doing through various religions he denies the deity of Jesus.- There are so many anti-Christ teachings in the world today. The scriptures says in  1 John 4:3 NKJV “and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.” 1 Tim 3:16 NKJV “And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh, Justified in the Spirit, Seen by angels, Preached among the Gentiles, Believed on in the world, Received up in glory.
                 The strongmen the bible speaks of in Luke 11:21-23 are the humanistic ideologies being peddled in the church by agents of the anti-Christ designed to pull people away from having faith in the lord. We are to resist them with superior arguments (1 Peter3:15, 2Cor10:4-5) this is what the scriptures defines as spiritual warfare.  The life of the church hinges on the divinity of Christ and the validity of scriptures, to doubt a part of scripture is the beginning of denying the divinity of Christ because God and his word (Christ) are in perfect harmony. We are admonished in Eph 6:14-17 AMP to “Stand therefore [hold your ground], having tightened the belt of truth around your loins and having put on the breastplate of integrity and of moral rectitude and right standing with God, And having shod your feet in preparation [to face the enemy with the firm-footed stability, the promptness, and the readiness produced by the good news] of the Gospel of peace. Lift up over all the [covering] shield of saving faith, upon which you can quench all the flaming missiles of the wicked [one].  And take the helmet of salvation and the sword that the Spirit wields, which is the Word of God.” You cant win this battle if Satan has convinced you to believe that scriptures contradict themselves. We must seek understanding through thorough research and open our hearts in humility to wholesome teaching of the word for victory to be assured.

COMMON CAUSES OF DISUNITY.

Proverbs 29:22 NLTBible        Disunity is defined as : disagreement and conflict within a group. It is the greatest hindrance to the promotion of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Disunity creates an avenue for Satan to promote sin.       The causes of disunity are not farfetched ,they include : Unhealthy Crave for power or self- promotion. Whenever there is an unhealthy pursuit of influence in a family or group it results in resistance. Self-promotion gives birth to unfair practices and injustices. CONSEQUENCES OF LACK OF FAITH

It is the substance ( title deed) of things hoped for ,the evidence of things not seen (Hebrew 11:1) .The Bible warns against not having faith in God. Lack of faith is equal to calling God a liar and untrustworthy.
