WHAT IS THE TRIBULATION WITH REGARDS TO THE END TIMES

Mathew 24:21 -22"For then shall be great  tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.  And except those days  should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened."             
          The word tribulation, is the Greek word 'thlipsis' and it means 'to be put under extreme pressure ,to suffer affliction and be in anguish, burdened, trouble. Bible scholars have been studying the scriptures in other to have an understanding of the events of the end times,  the crisis in the middle east and the imminent threat of a world war have further reinforced their belief that we are in the end times. The church of Christ shall be at the center of the crisis bothering on the end of the ages. These period shall be characterized by a rebellion against biblical principles and ethics as witnessed in the world's media. There is a systematic attempt by the major media cooperation of the world to discredit the bible and label it faulty, this is to pave way for its gradual removal from society and the introduction of the doctrines of the antichrist.
    The era of the antichrist shall be marked by gross lawlessness .The scriptures describes the prevailing culture in the last days in 2Timothy 1-6 " This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.  For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous,  boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false  accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than  lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.  For of this sort are they  which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts," The antichrist will exploit the sexuality of women in the propagation of his false teachings.
        The antichrist does not believe in the divinity of Jesus Christ and Fatherhood of God. The scriptures says in 2John 1:22" Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son." also 2Jn1:7 says "For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist." .Many religions deny the deity of Christ and in the end times they shall come under one umbrella and shall be led by a brutal totalitarian leader nicknamed 'the Beast'.
According to the Pre-Tribulation theory, this period shall be for the chastisement of unbelieving Jews and unbelievers in the world. It is  a future seven year period of terror and it is believed that true believers in Christ would have been raptured before this period thus escaping this hellish nightmare. Isaiah 2:12 describes this day as that which shall humble many and 1Thessalonians 5:2 says this day shall take many unawares and shall be heralded by a period when there shall be a global cry for peace and security  , the scriptures says " For yourselves know perfectly that the  day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction  cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape."(1Thessalonians 5:2) . It will be the final seven year period of Daniel's '70' weeks .The Jewish daily sacrifice will be abolished by the antichrist  and Daniel 12:11-12 says  "From the time that the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination that causes desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days. Blessed is the one who waits for and reaches the end of the 1,335 days." The second half of the seven year period shall be the worst and there will be believers who repented during this era and some will make it to the end.

CONSEQUENCES OF LACK OF FAITH

COMMON CAUSES OF DISUNITY.

Proverbs 29:22 NLTBible        Disunity is defined as : disagreement and conflict within a group. It is the greatest hindrance to the promotion of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Disunity creates an avenue for Satan to promote sin.       The causes of disunity are not farfetched ,they include : Unhealthy Crave for power or self- promotion. Whenever there is an unhealthy pursuit of influence in a family or group it results in resistance. Self-promotion gives birth to unfair practices and injustices. In Numbers 12: 1-15  Moses' sister Miriam and Aaron rebelled against him desiring to rule by force and in Numbers 16 :1-35 Korah led an insurrection against Moses desiring to be part of leadership.
