DEALING WITH SPIRITUAL WICKEDNESS IN HIGH PLACES ( Part 2 )

Nah 1:3 -6 KJV “The Lord is slow to anger, and great in power.”
Phil 2:9-11 KJV “Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;  And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”
     A battle between an angel and a demon is like that between a well-trained soldier belonging to an elite armed forces group like the US Marines engaged in a battle against a member of the boys scout. It is a total mismatch. It took an angel to destroy an entire platoon of the Assyrian army (2Kings19:35) They are described as mighty (Rev 10:1)  to give us an idea of how weak Satan is in comparison to an angel , the scriptures says in Rev. 20:1-3 NIV “And I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key to the Abyss and holding in his hand a great chain.  He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil, or Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. “ it took one angel to bind Satan and lock him up that’s how powerless he is before those with heaven’s authority . He is as powerful as you make him be.
        Satan’s strength lies in deceit, this is further reinforced through the activities of self-appointed apostles and false prophets who portray Satan as being so powerful and omnipresent . I guess the devil is surprised at the kind of power being arrogated to him by the religious .  Most of the battles described in the scriptures are battles over the control of the human mind .
    The bible describes our spiritual warfare as      2 Cor 10:3-6 Message Bible “The world is unprincipled. It's dog-eat-dog out there! The world doesn't fight fair. But we don't live or fight our battles that way — never have and never will. The tools of our trade aren't for marketing or manipulation, but they are for demolishing that entire massively corrupt culture. We use our powerful God-tools for smashing warped philosophies, tearing down barriers erected against the truth of God, fitting every loose thought and emotion and impulse into the structure of life shaped by Christ.  Our tools are ready at hand for clearing the ground of every obstruction and building lives of obedience into maturity.”
     Eph 6:13-17 shows us what constitutes our weapons against these agents of Satan in places of influence doing the devil’s bidding. They are (1)  the belt of truth (2) body armor of God's righteousness (3) the peace that comes from the Good New (4) the shield of faith (5) salvation as your helmet (5) the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. These weapons are found in the holy bible and meditating on God’s word gives you a superior argument against Satan and his agents.  God has given the believer unlimited power against demons ( luke10:19). We simply command them to move from place to place in the almighty name of Jesus Christ and they must obey.  Satan takes control of the minds of religious persons in the public office, business world, entertainment , schools , families , clergy , military and the media to destroy the lives of thousands on a daily basis  , just as there is a prince of Persia to contend with there is equally a wicked prince of Isreal  ( agent of Satan disguised as a Christian) that we need to contend with . They are in religious houses as influential preachers, public officers, security agents and business persons but promote evil by hindering righteousness from gaining ground in our communities.  They are described as the ‘wicked prince of Israel’ in  Ezek 21:25- "O you corrupt and wicked prince of Israel, your final day of reckoning is here!  They are the reason why despite the proliferation of churches in Africa, wickedness is on the increase. While dealing with these agents of Satan remember to first bind the demon in operation then ask God for superior intelligence to manipulate the situation to your advantage (Rom8:28)  .
Prayer : Heavenly father , forgive me of my sins against you , I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him lord and savior and receive grace and boldness to confront and conquer the agents of darkness waging war against my prosperity in Jesus name.

CONSEQUENCES OF LACK OF FAITH

COMMON CAUSES OF DISUNITY.

Proverbs 29:22 NLTBible        Disunity is defined as : disagreement and conflict within a group. It is the greatest hindrance to the promotion of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Disunity creates an avenue for Satan to promote sin.       The causes of disunity are not farfetched ,they include : Unhealthy Crave for power or self- promotion. Whenever there is an unhealthy pursuit of influence in a family or group it results in resistance. Self-promotion gives birth to unfair practices and injustices. In Numbers 12: 1-15  Moses' sister Miriam and Aaron rebelled against him desiring to rule by force and in Numbers 16 :1-35 Korah led an insurrection against Moses desiring to be part of leadership.
