THE MYSTERY OF THE HOLY COMMUNION

Matt 26:26-28 “as they were eating, Jesus took some bread and blessed it. Then he broke it in pieces and gave it to the disciples, saying, "Take this and eat it, for this is my body. And he took a cup of wine and gave thanks to God for it. He gave it to them and said, "Each of you drink from it, “
    John 6:53-58 NLT .."I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you cannot have eternal life within you.  But anyone who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise that person at the last day. For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink.  ..anyone who feeds on me will live because of me. I am the true bread ."
    The Old Testament demands blood sacrifices for sins. Imagine the problems this will pose in today’s world . The scriptures say in   Heb 9:22 AMP “[In fact] under the Law almost everything is purified by means of blood, and without the shedding of blood there is neither release from sin and its guilt nor the remission of the due and merited punishment for sins. “
      It is illogical for a sinner to offer a righteous sacrifice before God . Salvation could not be attained this way . You cannot achieve perfection through imperfection. For salvation to be complete a sinless priest had to sacrifice a perfect sacrifice. God made a body for himself in Jesus Christ and became the sinless High priest; gave himself as the perfect sacrifice thus fulfilling the demands of the laws of Moses. It was a one-time payment for sins. No sacrifice is required for forgiveness of sins. All that is required is repentance and thanksgiving.  The believer in Jesus Christ is joined together as one entity by the spiritual principle of engrafting where two plants are joined as one ;  the engrafted plant derives its nutrients and life from the host plant . This is reenacted during the Holy Communion. We derive our lives from Jesus Christ the True Vine. With this understanding we can face the trials of life.       Whenever we take the Holy Communion we are acknowledging that our spirit souls and bodies contain the same components in the body and Spirit of Jesus Christ.  This thinking brings strength and healing to the recipients.       
Prayer : Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation , I receive him as lord and savior and receive grace for healing and preservation in Jesus name.

CONSEQUENCES OF LACK OF FAITH

COMMON CAUSES OF DISUNITY.

Proverbs 29:22 NLTBible        Disunity is defined as : disagreement and conflict within a group. It is the greatest hindrance to the promotion of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Disunity creates an avenue for Satan to promote sin.       The causes of disunity are not farfetched ,they include : Unhealthy Crave for power or self- promotion. Whenever there is an unhealthy pursuit of influence in a family or group it results in resistance. Self-promotion gives birth to unfair practices and injustices. In Numbers 12: 1-15  Moses' sister Miriam and Aaron rebelled against him desiring to rule by force and in Numbers 16 :1-35 Korah led an insurrection against Moses desiring to be part of leadership.
