HE LIVES TO INTERCEDE ON OUR BEHALF.

Heb 7:23-25 AMP  “[Again, the former successive line of priests] was made up of many, because they were each prevented by death from continuing [perpetually in office];  But He holds His priesthood unchangeably, because He lives on forever.  Therefore He is able also to save to the uttermost (completely, perfectly, finally, and for all time and eternity) those who come to God through Him, since He is always living to make petition to God and intercede with Him and intervene for them. “
  Isa 6:8 ,11  NKJV  “Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: "Whom shall I send, And who will go for Us?" Then I said, "Here am I! Send me." .. Then I said, "Lord, how long?"
     The scripture declares that Jesus Christ is our great High priest, he offered himself as a onetime sacrifice for our sins. A one time sacrifice demands an irrevocable guarantee backing up the sacrifice for our sins , the scriptures says  Heb 7:20-22 NIV “ And it was not without an oath! Others became priests without any oath, but he became a priest with an oath when God said to him: "The Lord has sworn and will not change his mind: 'You are a priest forever.'"   Because of this oath, Jesus has become the guarantee of a better covenant.”
    This oath has to be enforced by a testator and Jesus Christ who sits at the right hand of the most high God as the word of God ever lives to intercede on behalf of believers, the word ‘intercede’ is the Greek word   ‘entugchano’ which means : to chance upon, confer with; by extension to entreat in favor of. What that means is that Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection is a security guaranteeing that he would carry through on his  word or obligation towards us .
     This is different from the common interpretation of Isaiah 6: 8 which is commonly interpreted as the Father asked who will go for us ? and the son said 'send me' . This is contrary to what the scripture says . The above interpretation cannot be true for a homogenous and all -knowing God.  He does not engage in a debate with himself . Isaiah 6: 8 was making reference for the need for human intercessors and messengers of God’s word. In verse 11 the prophet Isaiah requested to be sent by the lord as a messenger of God’s kingdom because of the need for intercessors.
       With the assurance of the backing of a guarantor (Jesus Christ ) we should intercede for the salvation of sinners and deliverance of Gods people with more confidence .  
Prayer : Heavenly Father , forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation , I receive as lord and savior and receive grace for effective prayer and spiritual growth in Jesus name

CONSEQUENCES OF LACK OF FAITH

COMMON CAUSES OF DISUNITY.

Proverbs 29:22 NLTBible        Disunity is defined as : disagreement and conflict within a group. It is the greatest hindrance to the promotion of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Disunity creates an avenue for Satan to promote sin.       The causes of disunity are not farfetched ,they include : Unhealthy Crave for power or self- promotion. Whenever there is an unhealthy pursuit of influence in a family or group it results in resistance. Self-promotion gives birth to unfair practices and injustices. In Numbers 12: 1-15  Moses' sister Miriam and Aaron rebelled against him desiring to rule by force and in Numbers 16 :1-35 Korah led an insurrection against Moses desiring to be part of leadership.
