CONSEQUENCE OF TRUSTING IN YOUR STRENGTH

  Faith is believing in the unseen . It is contrary to the world's system of 'seeing is believing' . That is why the worldly person cannot live by faith . It is foolishness to him or her. 

    The scriptures says it is impossible to please God without faith (Heb11:6) . God cannot be seen with the physical eyes just like the human consciousness but he can be perceived with the human spirit ( spiritual eyes)

       The worldly person says how can you believe in what you cannot see ? It's like saying because we cannot see the human consciousness therefore , humans have no consciousness. It will take almost the same energy to deny the existence of yourself as it will take to deny unseen realities .

     God's promises are obtained by faith because they exist as unseen realities that can only be seen with spiritual eyes the same way a woman can be one month pregnant and she believes she is pregnant without necessarily  seeing the baby . 

   Nonbelievers desire to see before they believe and therefore. trust in themselves more than they do God. The bible says " It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in people. It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in princes.

" Psalms 118:8‭-‬9 NLT and " If you think you are standing strong, be careful not to fall.

" 1 Corinthians 10:12 NLT

   Whenever we put our trust in anything God will cause it to fail. Many businesses and relationships are in trouble today because God's people have put their trust in them .  The bible says “And if, in spite of all this, you still disobey me, I will punish you seven times over for your sins. I will break your proud spirit by making the skies as unyielding as iron and the earth as hard as bronze. All your work will be for nothing, for your land will yield no crops, and your trees will bear no fruit." Leviticus 26:18‭-‬20 NLT. 

  Whenever God's word is treated like trash,  our faith for sustenance and preservation automatically begins to fail and everything begins to work against us. When you put your trust in men or women of influence you start falling from grace to grass over time . The bible says “But you have cultivated wickedness and harvested a thriving crop of sins. You have eaten the fruit of lies— trusting in your military might, believing that great armies could make your nation safe. Now the terrors of war will rise among your people. All your fortifications will fall, ..

" Hosea 10:13‭-‬14 NLT

  Spiritual defenses fail whenever we put our trust in influential personalities . It is a guaranteed ticket to poverty and frustration . It is an indication that a person is living contrary to God's will . Sin causes strength to fail .The bible says  "I am dying from grief; my years are shortened by sadness. Sin has drained my strength; I am wasting away from within." Psalms 31:10 NLT . Sin results in misery.

 Repentance and obedience is the beginning of restoration from the evil effect of trusting in one's strength. 

Prayer : Heavenly  Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation i receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power for uncommon recovery

CONSEQUENCES OF LACK OF FAITH

COMMON CAUSES OF DISUNITY.

Proverbs 29:22 NLTBible        Disunity is defined as : disagreement and conflict within a group. It is the greatest hindrance to the promotion of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Disunity creates an avenue for Satan to promote sin.       The causes of disunity are not farfetched ,they include : Unhealthy Crave for power or self- promotion. Whenever there is an unhealthy pursuit of influence in a family or group it results in resistance. Self-promotion gives birth to unfair practices and injustices. In Numbers 12: 1-15  Moses' sister Miriam and Aaron rebelled against him desiring to rule by force and in Numbers 16 :1-35 Korah led an insurrection against Moses desiring to be part of leadership.
