NATURAL THINKING VERSUS REASONABLE FAITH ( PART 1)

“My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord . “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts." Isaiah 55:8‭-‬9 NLT

   Human thinking says the universe was not created . It just happened. It began as a little dot and there was a 'Bing bang '  resulting in the expansion of the universe and humans and the over one million species of organisms came from meteorites (rocks). It says the universe is still expanding and there is the possibility of multi-universes. 

   This kind of thinking begs for many questions and one of which is according to the law of causation nothing happens without a cause. It is a universally accepted principle in jurisprudence and physical science . If there was a 'Big Bang' then what caused it .? It must have required a tremendous force to bring about that bang and the second question would be that of necessity, if the 'Big Bang' was necessary to achieve the level of intelligent design seen all around us then what or who determined it. Who or what placed the organic matter on the meteorites ?

   The more we try to deny God the more real he appears in our reasoning , he is the source of the human consciousness . Denying God's is more of a choice which does not satisfy logic. People do not want God to exist in their lives but unfortunately, denying the existence of a thing will not make it go away. 

   A major problem with using physical science to analyze ethereal objects is that of the insufficiency of data. How do you measure love, hope, fear, joy, the future, despair, depression, suicidal tendencies, sadness, hate using physical scientific data. Do we now say that the absence of scientific data is proof of the absence of ethereal objects, therefore, fear, heart breaks , love do not exist because we cannot proof them scientifically. It is dangerous to think in this manner, it is the reason why many feel lost . 

    Faith , hope , optimistic zeal are real and the data for this has to be beyond physical science . For the born again Christian the Holy scriptures -the Bible is our data with which we analyze ethereal objects and science. Science is a gift from God that began when the universe was created thus it does not have information prior to creation . Logically, there can not be multiple causes to one effect . Two women can't give birth to the same child, therefore, the logical explanation to the origin of God is that he is eternal . He was outside the universe before it was created and he is not bound by the laws of science because he created it the moment he put the universe in motion . 

   Since all causes in the universe are part of the domino effect of creation ,like a domino there can be only one cause that led to one thing leading to another thing and since the universe is boundless that thing must be infinite in capacity and eternal . That thing is what the born again Christians calls God- the source of life and monarch of the universe .

    We know this by faith -the deliberate belief in the unseen. We believe love , hatred, hypocrisy, falsehood, heartbreak are real though we cannot see them , through faith we can see their effects on humanity. This is the same way humans  believe in galaxies, newly discovered planets by the data gathered by astronomers even if we have not physically seen them . If we can trust our imperfect scientists we can also trust the data God gave to  us to help us navigate through life - the Bible . "We look not at things that are seen but at the things that are not seen..". 2Cor.4:18.

Prayer: Heavenly father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation , I receive him as Lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and extraordinary wisdom for excellence.
