PYRAMID SCHEMES : DON'T BE A CASUALTY (1)

 " Greedy people try to get rich quick     but don’t realize they’re headed for poverty. ," Proverbs 28:22
     "Desperate times calls for desperate measures" is a maxim that drives most motivational preachers . Jesus Christ warned against anxiety and desperation .He said “So don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’ These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. 
Matthew 6:31-32 bible says  ,," Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. " ,Philippians 4:6  Desperation results in a loss of faith in God and becoming a tool in Satan's hands.
   No matter how much you try to preserve rotten  meat it will not return to  its fresh state that's how pyramid schemes are . Most quick fix methods often ends in disaster .Pyramid schemes claim to give quick fix to financial problems and as such the desperate tend to fall easy prey to pyramid schemes resulting in marital and business failures ,ill health and death . This is fueled by sermons which vilify soul making methods of human development which requires going through some degree of hardship . ( Hebrews12;10-12 James1;1-3,
 Psalm119:71) 
     Schemers flood churches looking for desperate souls to defraud .Pyramid schemes promise unrealistic returns on investment . Sometimes they come masked under the cover of multilevel marketing companies .multilevel marketing companies have a real product to sell according to the U.S Federal Trade Commission .
   If the money you make is based on your sales to the public ,it may be a legitimate multilevel marketing strategy but If the money you make is based on the number of people you recruit and your sales to them, it’s probably not. It could be a pyramid scheme.
   It is important for proper investigations to be made through unbiased minds ( persons who have nothing to gain ) before proceeding to invest . That is where pastors come in but unfortunately the majority of the promoters of these schemes are either the clergy or very close  associates to the clergy.  This is part of the strategy to give it a face of legitimacy through religion which has become a major tool by schemers . In our daily prayers we should always ask for the spirit of discernment to guide us.
Prayer : Heavenly father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to resist temptations from schemers in Jesus name.

CONSEQUENCES OF LACK OF FAITH

COMMON CAUSES OF DISUNITY.

Proverbs 29:22 NLTBible        Disunity is defined as : disagreement and conflict within a group. It is the greatest hindrance to the promotion of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Disunity creates an avenue for Satan to promote sin.       The causes of disunity are not farfetched ,they include : Unhealthy Crave for power or self- promotion. Whenever there is an unhealthy pursuit of influence in a family or group it results in resistance. Self-promotion gives birth to unfair practices and injustices. In Numbers 12: 1-15  Moses' sister Miriam and Aaron rebelled against him desiring to rule by force and in Numbers 16 :1-35 Korah led an insurrection against Moses desiring to be part of leadership.
