GOD'S PLAN FOR YOUR PROSPERITY [PART 4}

YOU ARE SYMBOLS OF GOD'S BLESSING : Thriving in the Midst of Economic downturn - PART #4 Isaac was in a nation that experienced famine [a season of severe shortage,extreme scarcity and serious economic gloom] in the Land( see Gen 26 ). This period is usually a dark season for those who either do not have a personal relationship with God or do not know the provisions of their covenant relationship with God. These persons are full of fear, panic, uncertainty and hopelessness in the period of hardship Our security against famine is found in God's word .He says in Job 5:20, 22 (NLT): " He will save you from death in time of famine…. You will laugh at destruction and famine." As you put your trust in His unfailing love, He promises in Psalm 33:18-19: to deliver your souls from death, and to keep you alive in famine."According to Psalm 37:18-19: you will have more than enough [ more than is needed] during famine. You will THRIVE [ Prosper, flourish, succeed, advance and grow vigorously. You will increase in goods and estate because of God's blessing upon you. Proverbs 10:22 says: "The blessing of the Lord, it makes rich, and he adds no sorrow to it." God will cause you to flourish in famine like Isaac did in Gen. 26-Isaac Thrived in Famine .He did not move aimlessly but remained in obedience Vs1-6.and was under authority he recognized that God needed to use him in that community.It was no time too jump ship .God wants to make you a symbol and a source of blessing to your community. Zechariah 8:13 (NLT): "Among the other nations, Judah and Israel became symbols of a cursed nation. But no longer! Now, I will rescue you and make you both a symbol and a source of blessing. So don't be afraid. Be strong, and get on with rebuilding the temple!". This is God's irrevocable promise to the believer Genesis 12:2-3 (AMP): "I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you [with abundant increase of favours] and make your name famous and distinguished, and you will be a blessing [dispensing good to others]…. In you will all the families and kindred of the earth be blessed [and by you they will bless themselves]." And according to Psalm 21:6 your blessing has no expiring date;you are blessed forever. As you this now receive grace to flourish; : in Jesus name.

CONSEQUENCES OF LACK OF FAITH

Believe!”John 20:27 NLTBible     Faith is the guarantee of the manifestation an unseen reality . It is the reason behind the hope we have in God and the fulfilment of his promises. It is the substance ( title deed) of things hoped for ,the evidence of things not seen (Hebrew 11:1) .The Bible warns against not having faith in God. Lack of faith is equal to calling God a liar and untrustworthy. COMMON CAUSES OF DISUNITY.

Proverbs 29:22 NLTBible        Disunity is defined as : disagreement and conflict within a group. It is the greatest hindrance to the promotion of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Disunity creates an avenue for Satan to promote sin.       The causes of disunity are not farfetched ,they include : Unhealthy Crave for power or self- promotion. Whenever there is an unhealthy pursuit of influence in a family or group it results in resistance. Self-promotion gives birth to unfair practices and injustices. In Numbers 12: 1-15  Moses' sister Miriam and Aaron rebelled against him desiring to rule by force and in Numbers 16 :1-35 Korah led an insurrection against Moses desiring to be part of leadership.
