WALKING IN THE ILLUMINATION OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

THE LIGHT AND SOUNDS OF THE DIVINE
John 11:9 "Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he stumbles not, because he sees the light of this world."
Life is a journey and like in all journeys sometimes we have to travel at night . It is against this backdrop that vehicle manufacturers included night vision in the design of vehicles. Travels by day are more convenient than nighttime journeys because during the day we have a clearer vision of the hazards along our path , despite this , we still need to depend on sound judgment and our navigational skills for a safer journey. We are most likely to stumble while traveling at nighttime than during daytime . In John 11, Jesus compares His decision to return to Judea to a man traveling during the day. Just like traveling during the day does not mean the absence of hazards likewise walking in the light of God's direction doesn't mean that there won't be problems ,however, it eliminates the risk of "solving our problems with human sense and ascribing it to God’s grace “ that is walking in darkness and is guaranteed to get us into trouble.
Nobody has ever experienced sustainable peace by telling “righteous lies” . The philosophy of deliberating hurting others in other to get a head way in life and saying “God understands” is behind the many disasters in the life of many Christians . Most so-called ‘deliverance cases’ are the aftermaths of so many episodes of “God understands” in our lives. God is not mocked , whatever seeds we sow we shall reap. What this means , is that whatever you do to anyone , you are most likely to have someone do the same to you Gen.8:22, Gal 6:6-8. That is why we are admonished to invest in the life’s of individuals whom God has appointed to show us the light of His Word in other to avoid life’s pitfalls.
God will not twist any of His rules in other to please one inpatient ,proud, Christian. We are all going through something and must follow divine due process to solve our problems. Shortcuts to success bring about short lasting joy and peace.

Jesus depended on the Father’s light throughout His journey by obeying the leading of His Father . Likewise our decisions should not be based on how convenient taking an action may be but by discernment we follow God's will and do it regardless of the cost. It is usually not the easiest step to take but surely the most rewarding. The fact that a problem was easy to solve does not mean that it is approved of God. Life’s journey is sometimes easy and lots of times difficult, the most important thing is that progress is being made. Life’s problems do not come from God, there is no blessing in a sickness or in marital failure or bankruptcy and we should not be shocked when problems come (1 Pet. 4:12) and should never see problems as a sign of God’s rejection, He will never fail us nor forsake us. The more we make living for Christ as uppermost in our desires , the lesser these problems would seem to have any impact on us. We are assured of a glorious future at the end of these present troubles . As you read this now receive strength for perseverance and wisdom for uncommon exploit in Jesus name
