GOD WILL NOT DEMAND A ' MIRACLE SEED' FROM YOU ( PART1)

Matt 10:8 NIV "Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received, freely give."
    The ‘miracle seed’  is any material gift demanded by a preacher as a precondition for a person to receive a blessing from God. This is contrary the teachings of Christ and contradicts the gospel of grace in so many ways and is one of the reasons for corruption in society and the rejection of the gospel by many . This theology gives Satan the advantage; it feeds the ego of such preachers making them rich at the expense of the poor, it does not glorify God in anyway.
          The born again Christian is blessed with all blessings (Ephesians 1:3 ) and only needs faith from God’s word to experience them. Miracles are free and the apostles demonstrated this free gift in  Acts 3:6-8 NIV then  Peter said, "Silver or gold I do not have, but what I have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk."  Taking him by the right hand, he helped him up, and instantly the man's feet and ankles became strong.  He jumped to his feet and began to walk.”  A man was healed free of charge, no miracle seed ( money or any material thing ) exchanged  hands. All that was required was the faith of the recipient.
The 'miracle-seed' is said to be a means of exchange between the preacher’s anointing and the recipient. This again runs contrary to the scriptures :all born again Christians are imbued with the anointing permanently   1 John 2:27 AMP  says“But as for you, the anointing (the sacred appointment, the unction) which you received from Him abides [permanently] in you;  …..” the anointing is one and in all believers. He is the Holy Spirit and no preacher has a monopoly of the Spirit and the anointing .We are complete in Him (Col.2:10)
        Jesus commanded His servants to work in other to meet their needs and those of their families and the poor. It is against God’s law for a preacher to desire someone’s property or money under any guise , This is covetousness and it paints the church in a bad light . Apostle Paul was used by the Holy Ghost to do extraordinary miracles and he never demanded a ‘miracle seed’ from anyone .He said in Acts 20:33-35 AMP ‘ I coveted no man's silver or gold or [costly] garments.  You yourselves know personally that these hands ministered to my own needs and those [of the persons] who were with me.  In everything I have pointed out to you [by example] that, by working diligently in this manner, we ought to assist the weak, being mindful of the words of the Lord Jesus, how He Himself said, It is more blessed (makes one happier and more to be envied) to give than to receive.’ Modern preachers have been known to demand millions, lands, cars , houses, stocks , etc resulting to many fleeing the church for fear of been dispossessed of their possessions.
           It is not wrong for a preacher to receive gifts from those who have benefited from his or her ministry  as a demonstration of love for God  , but under no circumstance should so –called ‘miracle seeds’  be used as a precondition for a person to experience a miracle .There are persons receiving this very moment healing, breakthroughs, promotions, marriages etc.  all because of God's grace and you can too, if you believe.
Prayer : Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you, I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation, I receive him as lord and saviour  and receive grace to operate in the miraculous in Jesus name.

CONSEQUENCES OF LACK OF FAITH

COMMON CAUSES OF DISUNITY.

Proverbs 29:22 NLTBible        Disunity is defined as : disagreement and conflict within a group. It is the greatest hindrance to the promotion of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Disunity creates an avenue for Satan to promote sin.       The causes of disunity are not farfetched ,they include : Unhealthy Crave for power or self- promotion. Whenever there is an unhealthy pursuit of influence in a family or group it results in resistance. Self-promotion gives birth to unfair practices and injustices. In Numbers 12: 1-15  Moses' sister Miriam and Aaron rebelled against him desiring to rule by force and in Numbers 16 :1-35 Korah led an insurrection against Moses desiring to be part of leadership.
