DELIVERANCE FROM THE FEAR OF FAILURE

       Luke 9:48 "And said unto them, Whosoever shall receive this child in my name receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me receiveth him that sent me: for he that is least among you all, the same shall be great."
       Failure is the inability to fulfill a goal , it is a state of mind ; not a reality , the inability to understand this leads to emotional breakdown and low self-esteem. Life is a continuum , therefore failing at a thing can never be the end .

Those who have made great impact in our world are those who have overcome the fear of failure .Winners are never afraid of losing but losers are. What makes the success story of the great men and women of  today are the number of times they failed in some areas of their lives .

     The disciples of Christ struggled with the sense of failure haven left their businesses to follow Christ.They had inferiority complex; a disease common in our communities and a fallout of the failing family structure. Inferiority complex is characterized by excessive attention getting syndrome, self-pity, bitterness and an unhealthy competitiveness. Unfortunately, this is what motivates many preachers . It drives our programs and results in emotional exhaustion and ecclesiastical fatigue: a major reason why many quit church , though they still love the lord.
       The inability to keep up with one's peers creates the sense of  failure especially in this age of social media. Competitiveness hinders the development of the Christlike character of patience, love, perseverance and faith . It is easy to overcome competitiveness when we realize we are not on the same life journey. Therefore, the best answer to give anyone who tries to make us feel inferior with their exaggerated success story should be "good for you " .We have different priorities in life and should not be distracted from the goal of living to please the Lord. 
           Failure is an illusion that presupposes that the power to succeed resides with men. Life is a never ending process and if a person is in Christ he or she is already successful .We reign with Him in heavenly places : which position in life could be greater than that? Absolutely none, therefore , we are not like those frustrated with the burden of trying to 'make it' in life.
           When the disciples began to debate among themselves on who will be the greatest, Jesus said .." for he that is least among you all, the same shall be great."he that is least in society is that fellow who is not burdened with the crave for success and therefore, seeks to help others discover the peace that is in this truth through service to humanity.Always seek for ways to serve and to help your local church succeed .
         The greatest hindrance to service among God's people is the theology of 'dominion' which encourages self-promotion and tyranny, it is of pagan origin and unfortunately being taught in the church as a virtue but Jesus condemned this in its entirety  Matt 20:25-28KJV says ".. Jesus called them .. and said, the Gentiles exercise dominion .. and they that are great exercise authority upon them. But it shall not be so among you:... Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many." We dominate through service to mankind .The concept of dominion displayed in the world and copied by the modern church is ungodly (Jer.9:23-24). We should daily seek for ways on how to make the lives of those around us better by so doing our self worth is reinforced.
            Prayer : Heavenly Father forgive me for my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation and I receive him as lord and saviour and receive grace to break the yoke of inferiority complex in Jesus name.

CONSEQUENCES OF LACK OF FAITH

COMMON CAUSES OF DISUNITY.

Proverbs 29:22 NLTBible        Disunity is defined as : disagreement and conflict within a group. It is the greatest hindrance to the promotion of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Disunity creates an avenue for Satan to promote sin.       The causes of disunity are not farfetched ,they include : Unhealthy Crave for power or self- promotion. Whenever there is an unhealthy pursuit of influence in a family or group it results in resistance. Self-promotion gives birth to unfair practices and injustices. In Numbers 12: 1-15  Moses' sister Miriam and Aaron rebelled against him desiring to rule by force and in Numbers 16 :1-35 Korah led an insurrection against Moses desiring to be part of leadership.
