YOU CAN EXPERIENCE JOY IN THE MIDST OF CRISIS

 1 Peter 1:8 AMP "Without having seen Him, you love Him; though you do not [even] now see Him, you believe in Him and exult and thrill with inexpressible and glorious (triumphant, heavenly) joy."
      The world is becoming increasingly more difficult to live in due to the activities of the ungodly. There is virtually no part of the world without social upheavals. This was prophesied to be a sign of the end times in Matthew 24. Our lord Jesus said in Matthew 24:6-7 AMP "And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars;see that you are not frightened or troubled, for this must take place, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in place after place;"
    It also fulfills the prophesy in Haggai 2:6-8 which says there shall be an escalation of human crisis and cataclysmic activities in the days leading to the Lord's return .In the face of the global instabilities ,the house of the lord shall experience lasting peace .
    Peace and joy are both fruits of the Holy Spirit : a gift from God that functions regardless of the prevailing circumstances (Gal.5:22) therefore the child of God is guaranteed joy in the midst of crisis. Joy is embedded in God's word , the scriptures says in Psalm 119:162 AMP "I rejoice at Your word as one who finds great spoil." and psalm 119:165 says "Great peace have they who love Your law; nothing shall offend them or make them stumble. " Families with a regular bible study tradition are happier and peaceful.  Unfortunately, many believe more money gives peace.
       Money lacks the capacity to give peace and tranquility in a home ,  Ecclesiastes 5:10 NLT says "Those who love money will never have enough. How meaningless to think that wealth brings true happiness!" Building a home on finances is a recipe for disaster. The love of money  is the root of all marital crisis. The availability of money should not determine the quality of love we have for each other.
       Daily meditation on God's word gives lasting peace and joy (Psalms 45:7 NLT) Overflowing joy follows obedience to God’s word. Through His word we know that we are blessed to be a blessing to others and this is achieved when we use our gifts, talents to help those in need (Prov 14:21 NLT) …blessed are those who help the poor." this blessing is manifested in unspeakable joy and is a confirmation of our faith in the lord as the source of our provisions. Be a new testament giver (Acts 2:42-47,Acts4:32-37)Givers are happier and most likely to have a peaceful home. Consciously invest in the spread of the gospel. Support teachers of the gospel financially (Gal 6:6) and experience more peace 
      Acknowledging God’s goodness openly also results in overflowing joy (Ps 100:3 ) always share your  testimonies :it opens doors for more joyful breakthroughs in hard times.There is a supernatural happiness that emanates from the lord when we are in difficulties especially when persecuted for the faith  (1 Peter 3:14)Faith and joy go hand -in -hand and serves as our strength in the stormy times regardless of prevailing circumstances (Habakkuk 3:17-18). Regardless of what comes our way, God has promised to give joy to the faithful. 
Prayer: Heavenly Father forgive me for my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation , I receive him as lord and saviour and receive grace with overflowing joy in Jesus name.

CONSEQUENCES OF LACK OF FAITH

COMMON CAUSES OF DISUNITY.

Proverbs 29:22 NLTBible        Disunity is defined as : disagreement and conflict within a group. It is the greatest hindrance to the promotion of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Disunity creates an avenue for Satan to promote sin.       The causes of disunity are not farfetched ,they include : Unhealthy Crave for power or self- promotion. Whenever there is an unhealthy pursuit of influence in a family or group it results in resistance. Self-promotion gives birth to unfair practices and injustices. In Numbers 12: 1-15  Moses' sister Miriam and Aaron rebelled against him desiring to rule by force and in Numbers 16 :1-35 Korah led an insurrection against Moses desiring to be part of leadership.
