HASTINESS FRUSTRATES GRACE FOR PROSPERITY

 Luke 14:28 "For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost,  whether he have sufficient to finish  it?   Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish  it, all that  behold it begin to mock him,   Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish."
      The building of a house involves a lot of technical details which must not be compromised upon if a durable structure is to be achieved. Master -builders allude to the fact that the most critical aspect in the building of a house is  the foundation stage. Any error at that stage may require starting the building process all over again. Most foundational errors are as a result of hasty conclusions.
             Human life is like a building and it is very common to see a lot of  abandoned projects by God's people. Most times such inconclusive ventures are said to have been caused by demons, witches and wizards,  however,  taking a critical look reveals the contrary.  It is the lack of requisite knowledge brought about by hasty conclusions that leads to abandonment in marriages, businesses, jobs, ministries, academic pursuits etc.
         The scriptures says God’s people are bound and destroyed for lack of requisite information (Hosea4:6) because teachers have become weary of instructing ( (Isaiah 5:13). Teaching requires a  thorough explanation of precepts from which concepts are derived that becomes the guiding principles of a person's life. This requires patience: an unpopular virtue in today's world.  Unfortunately, many a teacher have resorted to being motivational speakers in order to appeal to sentiments .Godly character cannot be formed through preaching but through teachings. Motivational speeches do not tell us the price that must be paid to attain success. That is why many Christians have resorted to self-help.
         New believers are usually hasty ; this is carried over from the world where hastiness is seen as a virtue and such persons respond to issues without prayerfully considering all variables.  This is why the casualty rate in all spheres of life is highest among this spectrum of Christians.  The hasty christian easily falls into the devil's trap and are full of regrets ( Proverbs 29:28) hastiness removes us from God's protective shield (Proverbs 25:28).
         Hastiness is the result of competitiveness and comparing ourselves with our unsaved friends. Seeking relevance among the ungodly leads to recklessness and impatience .This is a symptom of the lack of faith in God's word. The man or woman of faith does not make haste (Isaiah 28:16) .
       The hasty initially tends to be ahead of other moderate Christians but soon ends up with regrets and bitterness. The scriptures says in   Prov.21:5 "The thoughts of the diligent   tend only to plenteousness; but of every one  that is hasty only to want. " The hasty are full of anger and bitterness and eventually end behind the pack ( Numbers 20:10-12). Proverbs 14:29 AMP "He who is slow to anger has great understanding, but he who is hasty of spirit exposes and exalts his folly." 
       When we trust the lord to meet our needs according to His will, we are better placed to receive from Him, and while waiting for the manifestation of our hearts desires, we should pray for His peace and guidance .Regardless of our errors, when we turn to the Lord our regrets are soon turned into everlasting blessings that would impact positively on the lives of others as the scriptures says in Romans 8:28 "And we know that all things work together for good to  them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."
Prayer : Heavenly Father, Forgive me of my sins against you, I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation, I receive him as lord and saviour and receive grace for overwhelming peace and stability  in Jesus name.

CONSEQUENCES OF LACK OF FAITH

COMMON CAUSES OF DISUNITY.

Proverbs 29:22 NLTBible        Disunity is defined as : disagreement and conflict within a group. It is the greatest hindrance to the promotion of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Disunity creates an avenue for Satan to promote sin.       The causes of disunity are not farfetched ,they include : Unhealthy Crave for power or self- promotion. Whenever there is an unhealthy pursuit of influence in a family or group it results in resistance. Self-promotion gives birth to unfair practices and injustices.
