UNFAILING ASSURANCE AND CONFIDENCE

Matt 10:29-31 NIV” Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from the will of your Father.  And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered.  So don't be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.” 
     In the face of current happenings the world over ,the tendency to feel unsafe ,anxious , fearful and apprehensive with regards to future or present situations is a common occurrence among many persons . Despite this, the Lord has good plans for those who put their trust in him .
       These plans are contained in Jesus Christ and His word , he remains  our stabilizer in trouble times . The scriptures says Heb 13:8 NIV “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. “ therefore , we are reassured that he will provide for us the same way he did in bible times .
          His love for us is unflinching  Rom 8:35-,38,39 “can anything ever separate us from Christ's love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death?  (As the Scriptures say, "For your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep.") No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us. And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God's love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God's love.  No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
     We cannot look to the things of this world for our safety . The rich fellow who trusted in his riches lost his life in one night (Luke 12:19,20) Safety is not in how far one is from danger but our trust in God’s mercy (2 Cor  4:18 )
    Being over-concerned for our physical situation results in a feeling of insecurity. There is so much negative news from the news and social media . We must learn to minimize our intake of negative news replacing it with God’s word and learn to cast our care upon the lord (1 Peter 5:7) The lord gives us an unfailing assurance and confidence   Though human security and assurance may fall short, the lord never fails. We can feel safe , secured and loved wherever the Lord is . The scriptures says Ps 27:13 TLB  “ I am expecting the Lord to rescue me again, so that once again I will see his goodness to me here in the land of the living. “
Prayer : Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation , I receive him as lord and savior and receive grace and confidence to withstand the tests leading to my breakthroughs .

CONSEQUENCES OF LACK OF FAITH

Believe!”John 20:27 NLTBible     Faith is the guarantee of the manifestation an unseen reality . It is the reason behind the hope we have in God and the fulfilment of his promises. It is the substance ( title deed) of things hoped for ,the evidence of things not seen (Hebrew 11:1) .The Bible warns against not having faith in God. Lack of faith is equal to calling God a liar and untrustworthy. COMMON CAUSES OF DISUNITY.

Proverbs 29:22 NLTBible        Disunity is defined as : disagreement and conflict within a group. It is the greatest hindrance to the promotion of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Disunity creates an avenue for Satan to promote sin.       The causes of disunity are not farfetched ,they include : Unhealthy Crave for power or self- promotion. Whenever there is an unhealthy pursuit of influence in a family or group it results in resistance. Self-promotion gives birth to unfair practices and injustices. In Numbers 12: 1-15  Moses' sister Miriam and Aaron rebelled against him desiring to rule by force and in Numbers 16 :1-35 Korah led an insurrection against Moses desiring to be part of leadership.
