SEX AFFECTS YOUR SECURITY

Gen 6:4-5 KJV “There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.  And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.”
     The bible exposition commentary describes the events of Genesis 5:28-6:8 in this light “ God saw the people of that day as "fallen ones," while men saw these people as mighty leaders. Even today, much of what is admired by the world is rejected by the Lord (Luke 16:15). When the Sethites compromised by mingling with the Cainites, they fell from God's blessing. God was grieved that they married godless Cainites, choosing wives as they pleased without considering God's will (Gen 6:2). In doing this, they endangered the fulfillment of the Gen. 3:15 promise; for how could God bring a Redeemer into the world through an unholy people? The people of that day "married and were given in marriage" (Matt 24:37-39) and thought nothing of the warning that Enoch and Noah gave about the coming judgment.     Cain murdered his brother Abel in cold blood out of jealousy and began a race of bullies (giants  from Hebrew word ‘nephil’ ) . God found a servant in Seth . He began a race of God worshipers (Sons of God) unfortunately; this could not be sustained after Seth’s death: there was intermingling between the tyrants and the sons of Seth leading to an overwhelming increase in wickedness. This is what happens when moral boundaries are not defined in families .The same is playing out in some churches,where in a bid to be socially relevant ,sexual boundaries are no longer defined and this has increased the rate of infidelity and perversion among God’s people with ever –increasing wickedness. The most effective form of demon possession and transmission of diseases is through sexual relations (1Cor.6:15-18) without boundaries.
        The scriptures clearly spells out these boundaries .Incest –sex with near relatives (Lev.18:10-18) Immediate family(Lev.18:6-9) Fornication  -Promiscuity (Deut.22:2325) Adultery  (Deut.22:22) Prostitution (Deut.23:17-18)Perversion -Homosexuality /lesbianism(Lev.18:22)Bestiality –sex with animals (Lev.18:23)  Jesus Christ condemned sexual sins equating it with murder (Mark7:21)  The restriction placed on sexual orientation protects the purity of sex. These boundaries were set by God because of His Holiness and they serve to protect us against physical and emotional harm. The full potentials of the sexual experience can only be harnessed by living within the boundaries of sexual purity.
       Sex education should be brought to the fore in raising children, they should be made to understand that God created sex to be an intimate bonding experience between a husband and wife .Sexual sins should not be treated with levity, silence on this issue means acceptance: grace is not a license to indulge in sin. Sin kills marriages, economies, communities and frustrates grace for prosperity. Whatever is obtained through sexual sin is unsustainable and does not give peace.
  Children should be made to understand that God has made provisions for the fulfillment of their sexual desires within the boundaries of marriage between a husband (male) and wife (female) (Gen.2:23-24) early enough (5 years ) before friends and society does  and while taking a righteous stand on sex they should not hate persons with a different  sexual orientation since God doesn’t  (John3:16) but seek for ways to share God’s unconditional love with them. 
Prayer : Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and  receive grace for protection against sexual traps in Jesus name.

CONSEQUENCES OF LACK OF FAITH

COMMON CAUSES OF DISUNITY.

Proverbs 29:22 NLTBible        Disunity is defined as : disagreement and conflict within a group. It is the greatest hindrance to the promotion of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Disunity creates an avenue for Satan to promote sin.       The causes of disunity are not farfetched ,they include : Unhealthy Crave for power or self- promotion. Whenever there is an unhealthy pursuit of influence in a family or group it results in resistance. Self-promotion gives birth to unfair practices and injustices. In Numbers 12: 1-15  Moses' sister Miriam and Aaron rebelled against him desiring to rule by force and in Numbers 16 :1-35 Korah led an insurrection against Moses desiring to be part of leadership.
