HOW TO OVERCOME LONELINESS

OVERCOME THE FEAR OF INADEQUACY By Rev. Michael Benson Ajayi.    John 16:32 NKJV "Indeed the hour is coming, yes, has now come, that you will be scattered, each to his own, and will leave Me alone. And yet I am not alone, because the Father is with Me."              Loneliness is a state of the mind founded on negative emotions, it is a sense of isolation or exclusion from the company of others and a feeling of rejection and abandonment which may be real or imagined. Most times, it is imagined and is as a result of receiving and believing negative information . We all go through loneliness without any exemption, and it is our response to this feeling of being left out that is of relevance. From the aforementioned scripture, Jesus was no stranger to abandonment but wasn't overcome by it. We are gregarious by nature and struggle with identity crisis while seeking to fit into our social group ,therefore ,it isn't out o...

IMMUNITY AGAINST DEMON POSSESSION

By Rev. Michael Benson Ajayi Matt 12:43-46 NKJV   “ ….Then he says, 'I will return to my house from which I came.' And when he comes, he finds it empty, swept, and put in order. Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there; and the last state of that man is worse than the first. So shall it also be with this wicked generation."            In this scripture Jesus gives us a picture of what happens during exorcism and the consequence of spiritual complacency or laxity. He said when an evil spirit is driven out of a person; he or she is likened to a well swept house and kept in order. What it means is that a demon possessed person is characterized by uncleanness and disorderliness.                Demons are fallen angels without physical bodies.   During Noah’s era they sought for hu...

COMPARING YOURSELF WITH OTHERS DOES MORE HARM THAN GOOD

Breaking the stronghold of inferiority complex .  By Michael Benson Ajayi  John 21:20 -22 "Then Peter, turning about, seeth the disciple whom Jesus loved following; which also leaned on his breast at supper, and said, Lord, which is he that betrayeth thee? Peter seeing him saith to Jesus, Lord, and what shall this man do? Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? follow thou me".        Inferiority complex is a strong feeling of insecurity and inadequacy which influences all of a person's interactions. Peter was adjudge leader of the disciples and was naturally expected to enjoy more benefits from Jesus than the others. This was his carnal reasoning but it was contrary to God's principles . The scriptures says in James 3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy." We ...

ADD VALUE AND SECURE YOUR RELATIONSHIPS THROUGH APPRECIATION

By Rev. Michael Benson Ajayi Matt 25:21 NIV "His master replied, 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share in your master’s happiness!”           The kingdom of God has a reward system by the appreciation of faithful stewardship. It is recognition of the sterling qualities and value or relevance of stewards in God’s vineyard. Jesus’ statement ‘share in your master’s happiness’ underscores the fact that the degree of happiness experienced by stewards is a function of the level of appreciation received.            The bible is replete with instances when Jesus expressed His gratitude by giving credit to whom it was due with the intention of bringing out the best out of people. In Mathew 15:22-28 Jesus showed appreciation to the Canaanite woman for her understanding of the principle of grace throug...

THESE TWO DON'T MIX

By Rev. Michael Benson Ajayi John 14:30 NKJV “I will no longer talk much with you, for the ruler of this world is coming, and he has nothing in Me.” In this scripture Jesus explains to His disciples that they would not be left comfortless. The statement ‘I will no longer talk much ‘was an assurance that even if they didn’t hear His voice, they were still not alone because the Holy Spirit shall remain with them throughout eternity. It is the consciousness of the presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives during those silent moments that give us the much needed peace. Peace isn’t necessarily the absence of problems but the ability to remain calm, stable and purposeful in the midst of problems. This is where a lot of believers miss it, they often pray that the lord to put an end to their problems and it is more worrisome when a preacher declares that the lord will bring all our problems to an end. It is only in death that all problems come to an end in the life of a Chri...

THE MYSTERY OF THE TENTH- PART IN COVENANT PROSPERITY

By Rev.   Michael Benson Ajayi   Gen 8:5 KJV “And the waters decreased continually until the tenth month: in the tenth month, on the first day of the month, were the tops of the mountains seen.”         Noah was a descendant of Seth a man who led the first ever revival after the fall of Adam in the Garden of Eden (Gen4:26). He was the first person to institute the act of worship and this was passed on to his son Abel and down to Noah and Abraham.         Noah lived in an era where there was no written moral code, therefore people did as they pleased under satanic influence and wickedness increased with the weak becoming easy prey. The human race became threatened as wickedness assumed a supernatural dimension with demon-induced pregnancies resulting in the birth of giants with superhuman capabilities. There was a complete breakdown of law and order (Gen 6:1-7). This led to the flood which was me...

DO NOT SUCCUMB TO THE FEAR OF FAILURE

By Rev. Michael Benson Ajayi Matt 17:19-21 NKJV “Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, "Why could we not cast it out?" So Jesus said to them, "Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.”        Note, Jesus did not attribute the disciples’ failure to ancestral curses or witches or wizards, as is often said by many churches; none of these have the capacity to stop a miracle from taking place in Christ (Luke10:19) if we believe. At the name of Jesus every knee must bow.                The fear of failure is easily identified as an overwhelming concern about the inability to successfully accomplish an endeavor or project. It is the byproduct of an overestimation of one’s capability in the public domain. It is s...
