By Rev.Michael Benson Ajayi Matthew 17:24-27 "........Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money; that take, and give unto them for me and thee."       God  wants to give you a  miraculous breakthrough as in the above scripture where Jesus provided the money for their taxes, and it was the exact amount needed from the first fish caught by Peter .One breakthrough from God will wipe your tears away.Get ready for it.           This event is a confirmation that God also supplies needs in a miraculous way, it's worthy of note that it is not an endorsement of dubious money making schemes for God does not bless through fraud. Resent events have shown that some of those we once celebrated as being blessed with immense wealth are actually thieves and killers, therefore, possession of wealth does not necessarily equate with divine blessing.      Money is a creation of man intended to facilitate trade and is neither good nor evil . It is the unending pursuit of money at the detriment of a healthy lifestyle that is the root of all evil, it is   erroneous to put the love of money above God (1 Tim. 6:10)! MATTHEW 18:1-5; MARK 9:30-37; LUKE 9:46-48             Babies have a purity and humility that is absent in adults: they are helpless and fully dependent on their parents , trusting wholeheartedly .         A major characteristics of humility is a God-dependency and not a self-sufficiency. Jesus demonstrated the true meaning of humility through His selfless disposition .           This path of self-denial to greatness is exactly opposite to the world's path of self-promotion .
