Is not the whole land before thee? separate thyself, I pray thee, from me: if thou wilt take the left hand, then I will go to the right; or if thou depart to the right hand, then I will go to the left.”      God permits separation, be it that of grown children leaving home to start a family of their own , family members separating  due to ideological differences , business partners separating to pursue personal dreams , spouses separating from each other due to irreconcilable differences (1Cor.7:15)and so on. But any unauthorized person who goes too near the sanctuary must be put to death."       The era  of the old testament was a period characterized by a  very strict and regimented approach to worship . This was to show the Israelites the need for a savior . The rules and regulations of the old testament were not designed for anyone to fulfill but for God’s people to see the need for His mercy .         One of such rules involved the sanctity of the sanctuary , it was the most sacred place in the temple and  out of bounds to all except  Aaron and his sons who were ordained priests; anyone else entering into the inner sanctuary was to be put to death according to God’s commandment . And he divided unto them his living.”      The need for self determination was the driving force behind this young Christian seeking for separation from the family of believers. He taught that the world had a better deal to offer than the church did : he was convinced his skills in finance management would see him through but that wasn’t the case as a he soon became bankrupt. There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink. "        God took on human flesh in Christ ,a phenomenon not too difficult for an all- powerful personality to accomplish. This was in fulfillment of the prophesy in Genesis 3:15 "And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel." The word 'seed ' refers to the human sperm . This is only found in men but God demonstrated His omnipotence by causing a woman to become  pregnant without the male's sperm.
