Michael Benson Ajayi     Whenever God speaks of perfection He isn't referring  to excellence in a human endeavour,  this is were many persons miss it , such  thinking leads to pride and that's why the highest cracks in homes is among the elite in the church because they keep allowing worldly knowledge interfere with the scriptures.  We cannot interpret scriptures in the light of the world's wisdom,  it is the other way round. The scriptures gives illumination to the human heart revealing its intentions.        The spiritually immature are very offensive, abusive and cannot be trusted with leadership role because of their destructive tendencies.     Rev.Michael Benson Ajayi Hebrew 6:1-2 "Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, Of the doctrine of  baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead,  and of eternal judgment."           The word 'perfection' in this text is the Greek word 'teleios' and it means :to be complete in labor, growth, mental and moral character, to come of age. Love is a power from God :it is His nature and the strongest force in the universe and the highest level of spirituality. It is what sustains the human race: God's love preserves us through His mercy.       The sufferings in the world are as a result of the rejection of God’s plans for humanity.  We easily rebel against that which is holy and godly and embrace evil ,resulting in heart breaks, diseases, death, destruction, misery and poverty      Our rebellion against God deserves our total annihilation,  but God’s love for humanity constraints Him from executing maximum punishment on us. Revenge is a natural tendency by reason of the fallen nature of man partly because we are oblivious of its implications.        The natural law of justice says in Luke 6:31 "And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise".  this implies that every word or action taken against or in favour of  anyone is a seed whose harvest will materialize in the same action being taken against us or in our favour . Michael Benson Ajayi Eph 4:30 NKJV “And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption .”  Mark 3:28 " But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation: " KJV        The Holy Spirit possesses the characteristics of a personality; they include   Intellect (The ability to think and reason), Sensitivity (The ability to feel things) Will (The capacity of choice and decision)    He is not just a mere power or influence, only a person can have feelings , it is for that reason that we are exhorted not to ‘grieve’ the Holy Spirit (Eph. 4:30) just as  Ananias and Sapphira “lied against Him and paid dearly for it” (Acts 5:3,4).   By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi Acts 1:8 "But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is  come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem,  and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the  earth."      The Holy Spirit is the life force of God, He is referred to as the third person in the trinity not by way of rank but by identity and functionality. It is analogous of an egg which consists of three parts, first the shell ,secondly the albumen and thirdly the yoke.  The order of occurrence does not necessarily mean an order of superiority. Likewise , God is three in one just as the egg is three in one and they are equal and function in perfect harmony. God is Father, Son (The Word) and the Holy Ghost.
