You may have the best of electrical home appliances ,but they will be of no use until powered with electricity. God has deposited extraordinary potentials in the spirit of the born again Christian and they are brought into manifestation when he or she receives the Holy Spirit.  The Holy Spirit is the self -regenerating life- giving force of God .  In Acts 1.8 , He is described as the power of God. Whenever a name is mentioned ,a demand is made on the power inherent in that name. Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness." Luke 10:25-37 "…You have answered correctly," Jesus replied. "Do this and you will live. But he wanted to justify himself, so he asked Jesus, "And who is my neighbor?....."         Salvation  is not by any self-effort or performance of any religious ritual .Prophet Abraham did not belong to any religious group before he was declared righteous by God.There was no room to boast about how  many times he prayed, went on pilgrimages, gave an offering etc before he was justified by God. It was by faith only. The Old Testament scriptures of Isaiah1;24-27,Deuteronomy 9:4-6 says it is  strictly God's prerogative. It entails being at the right place at the right time with the right people while doing the right thing.  The end result of wisdom is the fulfillment of one’s expectations and happiness. Wisdom is a divine virtue emanating from a personal intercourse with the Spirit of God. Wisdom is supreme; the binding force of joyful relationships and guarantees sustainability in businesses and communities that is why the scriptures says in  Proverbs 4:7” Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding”.      Most persons neglect the indispensability of wisdom in their relationships and set out to build their marriages; relationships on other virtues such as love .We may feel good for a while but ...

By Rev.Michael Benson Ajayi Mark 11:20-21 “In the morning, as they went along, they saw the fig tree withered from the roots.  Peter remembered and said to Jesus, "Rabbi, look! The fig tree you cursed has withered!" NIV    Jesus' disciples were surprised to see how quick it took for the tree to wither. The previous day He  had sought for food from the tree but found none and He cursed  the tree and by morning it withered.  The tree began to die from the roots up. It died instantly just as Jesus said, and it was a process that was not immediately visible until the next morning.     This is typical of the process involving the manifestation of the miraculous when we pray. Michael Benson Ajayi  Matthew 22:23 "The same day came to him the Sadducees, which say that there is no resurrection, and asked him,”        When a corn seed is planted, it goes into a process of complete decay and something amazing happens: out of the decayed material emerges a new crop according to its genetic code. The genetic code did not die with the other parts of the seed. If it did something else would have emerged.  This is one of the many mysteries of life on earth and it gives us a clue of what happens at death .Resurrection means "to come alive again."         Life is a continuum . Behold, all things have become new." 2Corinthians 5.17 Bible     The moment a person receives Jesus Christ as lord and saviour ,his or old life and identity abruptly comes to an end and now everything is new in Christ. Everything from your old life (failures,overwhelming appetite for sin , heartbreaks, curses, hopelessness, rejection, slavery etc) has ended and all things have become new. It is likened to what happens when a woman (a daughter of an abusive father) gets married and changes her surname. She undergoes a radical transformation in status in an instant. As soon as the marriage vows are exchanged and she is declared a wife an overwhelming essence takes over the woman with authority , control and freedom.
