DON'T BE HINDERED BY LIMITATIONS

Mark 6:52, "For they considered not the miracle of the loaves: for their heart was hardened."
Rebellion against Godly authority results in a heart that is insensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit. This is what it means to have a hardened heart. If you dropped a ball from the second floor of a building unto a mattress : it is most likely to remain on the mattress or within its vicinity . The same cannot be said about a hard surface , the harder the surface, the farther the ball will bounce off and away from it . So it is with a hardened heart, it is non-receptive to God's blessing .To be "hardened" means "to be unyielding, make calloused, cold in spirit, or insensitive to." . It is a stranger to the dynamics of the Spirit . It is typical of those who practice religion ;they are insensitive to the feelings of others and major reason for marital failure.This is what happens to the fellow who avoids church activities for the love of money.
This was the state of the disciples who had gotten all too familiar with Jesus and taught they knew Him well enough from their carnal evaluations .Therefore , when they saw Him walk on water , it became too much to process, they were, "sore amazed in themselves beyond measure, and wondered" at how possible it was for anyone to walk on water.

It is possible to believe in God and yet be hardened because of being accustomed to the physical world with its limitations . This was why the disciples were overwhelmed to see Jesus override the laws of physical science. It was simply unacceptable. They had forgotten the past miracles they had witnessed .They saw Him feed the five thousand and also the four thousand They had become callous and irresponsible. That is the attitude behind the saying "whatever will be will be " . We have a role to play in the dispensation of God's grace and should not treat matters bothering on faith with levity. We should give it the seriousness or devotion it deserves. God wants to do greater works through us. There are new discoveries to be made by the church for the benefit of humanity.
We tend to be more sensitive to fear and doubt than we are to the truths of God's Word. This is because we were taught during our childhood to be fearful thus leaving us with more doubt than faith in God. God would rather have us harden our our hearts to doubt by considering only God's Word. Through constant meditation on God's word we can be as sensitive to God and faith .

Prayer : Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation, I receive him as lord and saviour and receive grace to walk in the supernatural in Jesus name.
