FOUNDATION FOR LASTING SUCCESS 2

The fire will be sent to purify the church . The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 3;10-15  " According  to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a  wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation,  and another buildeth thereon. But let every man  take heed how he buildeth thereupon. For  other foundation can no man lay than that is laid,  which is Jesus Christ.  Now if any man build  upon this foundation gold, silver, precious  stones, wood, hay, stubble , Every man’s work  shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare  it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire  shall try every man’s work of what sort it  is.  If  any man’s work abide which he hath built  thereupon, he shall receive a reward.  If any  man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss:  but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.  " 

   This fire is intended to put an end to the culture of bribery and hypocrisy in the church. The bible says in Job 15:34 " For the congregation of hypocrites shall be desolate, and fire shall consume the tabernacles of bribery.". The culture of bribery and hypocrisy is the reason behind terrorism and killings across Nigeria and preachers shall be held liable for the roles they played in the promotion of this demonic culture that has brought shame to the glorious name of Jesus Christ. The bible says in Romans 2:24 " For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you,.." 

 There is no blessing in building a cathedral by an unrepentant parishioner engaged in illegality. That money consist of the sweat and tears and sometimes blood of the oppressed who cry daily to God for justice and deliverance . 

  In prophet Ezekiel's time the preachers took pride in using building projects as a means of exploiting God's people, the Bible says " They say to the people, ‘Is it not a good time to build houses? This city is like an iron pot. We are safe inside it like meat in a pot.’ Ezekiel 11:3  and buildings built with  questionable means dotted the landscape. 

  This crave to impress one another outside God's will results in senseless killings endorsed by these preachers . The Bible says " You have murdered many in this city and filled its streets with the dead. " Ezekiel 11:6 

As in Ezekiel's time senseless Killings is now part of culture of the religious .

      TERRORISM: The culture of bribery comes with a spiritual repercussion . It opens the doors for terrorists and bandits. The bible says " Fear the lord if you are wise!     His voice calls to everyone ..: “The armies of destruction are coming;   the lord is sending them.  What shall I say about the homes of the wicked     filled with treasures gained by cheating? What about the disgusting practice   of measuring out grain with dishonest measures? Micah 6:10

  The rich among you have become wealthy     through extortion and violence. Your citizens are so used to lying   that their tongues can no longer tell the truth. Micah 6:12

Deliverance starts from returning back to the teachings on repentance and baptism in the Holy Ghost. 

Prayer: Heavenly father forgive me of my  sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I  receive him as Lord and saviour and receive the Holy ghost and power for sustainable progress .

CONSEQUENCES OF LACK OF FAITH

Believe!”John 20:27 NLTBible     Faith is the guarantee of the manifestation an unseen reality . It is the reason behind the hope we have in God and the fulfilment of his promises. It is the substance ( title deed) of things hoped for ,the evidence of things not seen (Hebrew 11:1) .The Bible warns against not having faith in God. Lack of faith is equal to calling God a liar and untrustworthy. COMMON CAUSES OF DISUNITY.

Proverbs 29:22 NLTBible        Disunity is defined as : disagreement and conflict within a group. It is the greatest hindrance to the promotion of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Disunity creates an avenue for Satan to promote sin.       The causes of disunity are not farfetched ,they include : Unhealthy Crave for power or self- promotion. Whenever there is an unhealthy pursuit of influence in a family or group it results in resistance. Self-promotion gives birth to unfair practices and injustices. In Numbers 12: 1-15  Moses' sister Miriam and Aaron rebelled against him desiring to rule by force and in Numbers 16 :1-35 Korah led an insurrection against Moses desiring to be part of leadership.
