JESUS CHRIST GUARANTEES OUR SALVATION

   "And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand." John 10:28 NKJV

  " Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you," I Peter 1:3‭-‬4 NKJV

    The difference between Christianity and other religions is that while other religions places the burden of salvation upon man often requiring sacrifices, on the other hand Jesus Christ took upon him the burden of our salvation through a vicarious atonement and universal forgiveness.  Thus, salvation is an act of grace and a gift to be received by faith with thanksgiving. 

    Logically , an act of atonement can only be executed through a sinless priest that was why God had to first declare Abraham righteous before demanding a sacrifice from him . A sinful human (Ecc7:20) cannot atone for sinful humanity , therefore, religious acts of atonement cannot make a person righteous . In the place of his son Isaac ,he was given a lamb for the sacrifice an indication of the era when the burden of our salvation will be by Jesus Christ ( the lamb of God) 

  Receiving Jesus Christ guarantees eternal life in heaven and eternal salvation . This means the born again believer can never lose his or her salvation even if he or she makes a mistake or falls . The scriptures says " And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?”John 11:26 NKJV and  " And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son." I John 5:11 NKJV. The believer already has eternal life, and  " Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; For the Lord upholds him  with His hand." Psalms 37:24 NKJV

 Regardless of how many times the believers falls or fails the Lord will always pick them up . They are secured in the Lord , the bible says  "He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.”John 3:36 NKJV

    Jesus Christ will never reject the believer , the bible says " All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out." John 6:37 NKJV

 The man who had  sexual relations with his stepmother suffered the consequence of his errors but had the opportunity to  be  saved by the saving grace of Jesus Christ.(1Cor5:1-5)  

  Whenever , we veer off track, the Lord will discipline us but will never cast the believer out . All a person needs is to keep believing in Jesus Christ as saviour . ( Ps89:30-34; Heb12:5-8;Rev 3:19) 

  " These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue  to believe in the name of the Son of God."I John 5:13 NKJV

Prayer : Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Ghost and power for excellence in Jesus name.

CONSEQUENCES OF LACK OF FAITH

COMMON CAUSES OF DISUNITY.

Proverbs 29:22 NLTBible        Disunity is defined as : disagreement and conflict within a group. It is the greatest hindrance to the promotion of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Disunity creates an avenue for Satan to promote sin.       The causes of disunity are not farfetched ,they include : Unhealthy Crave for power or self- promotion. Whenever there is an unhealthy pursuit of influence in a family or group it results in resistance. Self-promotion gives birth to unfair practices and injustices. In Numbers 12: 1-15  Moses' sister Miriam and Aaron rebelled against him desiring to rule by force and in Numbers 16 :1-35 Korah led an insurrection against Moses desiring to be part of leadership.
