HE WILL FULFILL HIS PROMISES

"Let us hold fast the  profession of our faith without wavering; (for he  is faithful that promised;)" Hebrews 10:23

   The holy scriptures is full God's promises to his precious people. The Bible is a roadmap that leads to the fulfillment of God's plans for us.  God's plan for us are of good not of evil to give us a good future. The bible says " For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord . “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope." Jeremiah 29:11 NLT

  God's love for us is unconditional but his blessings functions conditionally .There is always a condition attached to every promise. 

These conditions are intended to build a relationship between us and the heavenly father. God  seeks to have a special one- of- a -kind relationship with each one of us and each instruction is designed to bring us closer and warmer. In reality we are never far from him but our feelings and desires could create a sense of being distant from God . 

 The bible says " Listen! The Lord ’s arm is not too weak to save you, nor is his ear too deaf to hear you call. It’s your sins that have cut you off from God. Because of your sins, he has turned away and will not listen anymore."Isaiah 59:1‭-‬2 NLT Just as two persons can be in a relationship yet with hearts distant apart , God can be in a relationship with a person and the person does not enjoy the sweet fellowship of the Holy Spirit because of a stubborn heart against God's instructions . This is one of the reasons for delays in breakthroughs. 

  Another reason is that we have to be humiliated by certain persons , mockers tend to believe that serving God wholeheartedly is a waist of time . So as soon as we are mocked by the required number of persons , our breakthrough comes to pass beyond human comprehension . God uses our breakthroughs to silence mockers . 

  "The Lord who rescued Abraham has this to say about Jacob's descendants: “They will no longer be ashamed and disgraced.  When they see how great I have made their nation, they will praise and honor me, the holy God of Israel.  Everyone who is confused will understand, and all who have complained will obey my teaching. ”Isaiah 29:22‭-‬24 CEV  Faith requires patience and it is during the waiting period that we suffer reproach from complainers or mockers but eventually God will fulfill his promise in a manner that will overwhelm mockers . 

   Problems bring us closer to God resulting in greater convictions. The scripture says "...But I am not ashamed of it, for I know the one in whom I trust, and I am sure that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him..."2 Timothy 1:12 NLT . We trust in the Lord because he is able to fulfill his promises. 

  The bible says “I am the Lord , the God of all the peoples of the world. Is anything too hard for me?" Jeremiah 32:27 NLT God is able to do anything . Whenever , we are tempted to doubt his ability to fulfill a promise , we should remember that he has done it for others who trusted in him with some not expecting him to but he did it anyways because of the integrity of his word . The bible says " God is not a man, so he does not lie. He is not human, so he does not change his mind. Has he ever spoken and failed to act? Has he ever promised and not carried it through? Numbers 23:19 NLT He has not failed in the past and will not fail if we trust him.

Prayer : Heavenly father forgive me of my sins against you i believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation, I  receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Ghost and power for stability in Jesus name.

CONSEQUENCES OF LACK OF FAITH

It is the substance ( title deed) of things hoped for ,the evidence of things not seen (Hebrew 11:1) .The Bible warns against not having faith in God. COMMON CAUSES OF DISUNITY.

Proverbs 29:22 NLTBible        Disunity is defined as : disagreement and conflict within a group. It is the greatest hindrance to the promotion of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Disunity creates an avenue for Satan to promote sin.       The causes of disunity are not farfetched ,they include : Unhealthy Crave for power or self- promotion. Whenever there is an unhealthy pursuit of influence in a family or group it results in resistance. Self-promotion gives birth to unfair practices and injustices. In Numbers 12: 1-15  Moses' sister Miriam and Aaron rebelled against him desiring to rule by force and in Numbers 16 :1-35 Korah led an insurrection against Moses desiring to be part of leadership.
