NOT ALARMED BY EVIL REPORT

  "They do not fear bad news; they confidently trust the Lord to care for them. They are confident and fearless and can face their foes triumphantly." Psalms 112:7‭-‬8 NLT

   The believer's faith will be tested in so many ways by the lord. The trial of our faith is what gives birth to Christian character required for promotion in life (James1:1-2). Christian character is more valuable than the most expensive jewelry . The Bible says " So be truly glad. There is wonderful joy ahead, even though you must endure many trials for a little while. These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold—though your faith is far more precious than mere gold. So when your faith remains strong through many trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world."1 Peter 1:6‭-‬7 NLT

   You cannot be in the same spiritual level of faith and expect to be promoted . Promotion comes with great faith which comes with many trials . The reward for growing in faith is honour and glory . 

   The Israelites were tested by walking around the walls of Jericho ( Joshua6:2-5) . Gideon was told to make himself more vulnerable and prone to defeat while trusting in the lord , he was instructed to reduce the size of his army ( Judges7:2-7)

 God also tested Abraham to see if he was willing to sacrifice Isaac as proof of love and total devotion to God ( Genesis 22:1-18) 

   The test of  faith result in the destruction of the stronghold of the spirit of fear and pride . The elimination of pride and fear opens the door for the miraculous .

   At this point you will not be running around anxious . The Bible says Therefore, this is what the Sovereign Lord says: “.... Whoever believes need never be shaken.

" Isaiah 28:16 NLT . The believer does not panic. Panicking results in high blood pressure and hearts diseases. It could result in death .

     Whatever is done while being panicky  is often in error.  The bible says  "Enthusiasm without knowledge is no good; haste makes mistakes." Proverbs 19:2 NLT  Some of our major errors were done while being panicky. 

   The bible says  " Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

" Philippians 4:6‭-‬7 NLT

Prayer: Heavenly father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and faith for extraordinary breakthroughs in Jesus name.

CONSEQUENCES OF LACK OF FAITH

Believe!”John 20:27 NLTBible     Faith is the guarantee of the manifestation an unseen reality . It is the reason behind the hope we have in God and the fulfilment of his promises. It is the substance ( title deed) of things hoped for ,the evidence of things not seen (Hebrew 11:1) .The Bible warns against not having faith in God. Lack of faith is equal to calling God a liar and untrustworthy. COMMON CAUSES OF DISUNITY.

Proverbs 29:22 NLTBible        Disunity is defined as : disagreement and conflict within a group. It is the greatest hindrance to the promotion of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Disunity creates an avenue for Satan to promote sin.       The causes of disunity are not farfetched ,they include : Unhealthy Crave for power or self- promotion. Whenever there is an unhealthy pursuit of influence in a family or group it results in resistance. Self-promotion gives birth to unfair practices and injustices. In Numbers 12: 1-15  Moses' sister Miriam and Aaron rebelled against him desiring to rule by force and in Numbers 16 :1-35 Korah led an insurrection against Moses desiring to be part of leadership.
