HUMAN THINKING VERSUS REASONABLE FAITH 2

   "When the south wind blows, you say, ‘Today will be a scorcher.’ And it is.  ...You know how to interpret the weather signs of the earth and sky, but you don’t know how to interpret the present times." Luke 12:55‭-‬56 NLT

   Natural man judges based on physical evidence and this can be very uncertain given that there are objects that are not physical yet real . Astrologists seek to make predictions designed to guide man through the course of life but unfortunately , the data required to predict the course of life is beyond man. Only God: the all knowing one can rightly predict the course of life because he also holds the power to change the outcome of a prediction . 

    The recent COVID -19 pandemic altered the prediction by astrologers and notable prophets because it was an act of God largely unpredictable (Psalm106:14) . This is an example of  God's ability to disrupt a process at will . The example Jesus  gave about man's ability to predict when it will rain by reason of movement of the wind is presently being disrupted by Cloud seeding technology. 'Cloud seeding is a type of weather modification that aims to change the amount or type of precipitation that falls from clouds by dispersing substances into the air that serve as cloud condensation or ice nuclei, which alter the microphysical processes within the cloud.'  ( Wikipedia ) . 

With this technology rain can be made to fall in dry regions of the earth. This is proof of the uncertainty of predictions based on physical evidence. Life can be altered without any notice . 

  It is against the backdrop of the uncertainties of life that we are admonished to trust in the lord than in man (Psalm118;8) Man's  perception of a thing is limited but God sees everything . The Bible says  " ... The Lord doesn’t see things the way you see them. People judge by outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”1 Samuel 16:7 NLT Human vision is superficial. 

  Trusting man above God is guaranteed to lead to failure , the bible says " This is what the Lord says: “Cursed are those who put their trust in mere humans, who rely on human strength and turn their hearts away from the Lord ." Jeremiah 17:5 NLT. The world would have you believe they are smarter than God  but that is not true considering the level of misery and decay in the world , the Bible says  "Since God in his wisdom saw to it that the world would never know him through human wisdom, he has used our foolish preaching to save those who believe." 1 Corinthians 1:21 NLT

   Human wisdom is limited therefore, we cannot build our faith in God based on human wisdom , the bible says " I did this so you would trust not in human wisdom but in the power of God." 1 Corinthians 2:5 NLT . God's wisdom is infinite but man's wisdom is limited  , this always results in conflicts between the spiritually enlightened and the naturalist " But people who aren’t spiritual can’t receive these truths from God’s Spirit. It all sounds foolish to them and they can’t understand it, for only those who are spiritual can understand what the Spirit means."1 Corinthians 2:14 NLT

Prayer: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation  I receive as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Ghost and wisdom for excellence in Jesus name

CONSEQUENCES OF LACK OF FAITH

COMMON CAUSES OF DISUNITY.

Proverbs 29:22 NLTBible        Disunity is defined as : disagreement and conflict within a group. It is the greatest hindrance to the promotion of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Disunity creates an avenue for Satan to promote sin.       The causes of disunity are not farfetched ,they include : Unhealthy Crave for power or self- promotion. Whenever there is an unhealthy pursuit of influence in a family or group it results in resistance. Self-promotion gives birth to unfair practices and injustices. In Numbers 12: 1-15  Moses' sister Miriam and Aaron rebelled against him desiring to rule by force and in Numbers 16 :1-35 Korah led an insurrection against Moses desiring to be part of leadership.
