PROPHETIC ANOINTING TO BELIEVE LIES

  "And the Lord said, Who shall  persuade Ahab, that he may go up and fall at  Ramoth-gilead? And one said on this manner,  and another said on that manner.  And there  came forth a spirit, and stood before the Lord,  and said, I will persuade him.  And the Lord  said unto him, Wherewith? And he said, I will go  forth, and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all  his prophets. And he said, Thou shalt persuade  him, and prevail also: go forth, and do so. " 1kings 22:20-22.

      The lord was about to execute judgment against a rebellious king who treated God's word like trash. And so he anointed four hundred prophets with a lying spirit and they misled Ahab to his demise.

    In 1kings 13: 1-31 A young prophet was instructed by the lord not to eat in Bethel ( food is a tool for making covenants ) but was deceived by an older prophet to do otherwise in the name of the lord and he paid the ultimate price. 

 When we love lies - words that contradict the truth of the gospel we stand the danger of being anointed to believe in lies. This is a state of delusion where a person cannot rationalize ideas and despises logic or common sense. That was what happened to Eve in the garden of Eden.

   We see this in persons who fall into the hands of falls prophets who swindle them using ponzi schemes . The majority of persons who fall victims of ponzi schemes are professing Christians . These persons hate attending churches where they would be taught sound doctrines . The Bible says of these persons

      "  For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear. They will reject the truth and chase after myths."  2 Timothy 4:3-4

    Unfortunately , many persons love lying  that's why there is an increase in false prophets . The Bible says " the prophets give false prophecies,  and the priests rule with an iron hand. Worse yet, my people like it that way!     But what will you do when the end comes? " Jeremiah 5:31

 God gives you a prophet or pastor that suites you . He gives lovers of lies false prophets. For the uncompromising righteous he says " And I will give you shepherds after my own heart, who will guide you with knowledge and understanding. " Jeremiah 3:15  " 

    The anointing to lie operates through prophetic preachers  , the scriptures says ' They use lies ... And my people believe them!  They do things I would never do. They lie to good people and encourage them to do wrong, and they convince the wicked to keep sinning and ruin their lives. " Ezekiel 13:29-22.CEV That is what happens in ponzi schemes and corrupt politics.

  A person anointing to lie keeps following falsehood even when it is proven beyond all reasonable doubt that they are being misled. This is a dangerous condition to be in. The new testament Scriptures says God has anointed these ones to believe the lie since they have chosen to promote falsehood. 

  "So God will cause them to be greatly deceived, and they will believe these lies. Then they will be condemned for enjoying evil rather than believing the truth. 2 Thessalonians 2:11-12. 

   In your daily prayers seek for increasing hunger for the truth of the gospel . 

Prayer: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to resist temptations . Amen.
