NATURAL HEALING VERSUS SUPERNATURAL HEALING

" About that time Hezekiah became deathly ill, and the prophet Isaiah son of Amoz went to visit him. He gave the king this message: “This is what the Lord says: Set your affairs in order, for you are going to die. You will not recover from this illness.” “Go back to Hezekiah, the leader of my people. Tell him, ‘This is what the Lord , the God of your ancestor David, says: I have heard your prayer and seen your tears. I will heal you, and three days from now you will get out of bed and go to the Temple of the Lord . Then Isaiah said, “Make an ointment from figs.” So Hezekiah’s servants spread the ointment over the boil, and Hezekiah recovered! "2 Kings 20:1‭, ‬5‭-‬5‭, ‬7 NLT

   " Dear friend, I hope all is well with you and that you are as healthy in body as you are strong in spirit." 3 John 1:2 NLT

 God's plan is that we live in good health and emotionally stable   . Sickness can either be physical or spiritual . 

   The Bible teaches that some sicknesses can be caused by  the devil's attacks. Demons attack a person's mind and project a type of disease that can be manifested in the body. The bible says " When they left, a demon-possessed man who couldn’t speak was brought to Jesus. So Jesus cast out the demon, and then the man began to speak. The crowds were amazed. “Nothing like this has ever happened in Israel!” they exclaimed.' Matthew 9:32‭-‬33 NLT

   Under such circumstances it is dangerous to treat  a spiritual disease as a physical one. Some persons have suffered irreparable damages in the hands of doctors searching for an invisible disease with physical symptoms . 

Spiritual diseases are caused by invisible entities but with physical symptoms working through the human mind. (Mark5:25-26, 2Chron16:12-13) this could be done through hypnosis and projections through dreams. Meditating on God's word everyday prevents this. Born again believers are anointed to heal the sick ( Mark16:18, Matt10:8)

  The bible gives an example " One of the men in the crowd spoke up and said, “Teacher, I brought my son so you could heal him. He is possessed by an evil spirit that won’t let him talk. So they brought the boy. But when the evil spirit saw Jesus, it threw the child into a violent convulsion, and he fell to the ground, writhing and foaming at the mouth. When Jesus saw that the crowd of onlookers was growing, he rebuked the evil spirit. “Listen, you spirit that makes this boy unable to hear and speak,” he said. “I command you to come out of this child and never enter him again!”Mark 9:17‭, ‬20‭-‬20‭, ‬25 NLT 

   Before treating a person we should trust the Holy Spirit to discern if it is spiritual or physical . In some cases all that a person needs to be healed is proper medical care . The knowledge for medical advancement comes from God . Doctors ,nurses and other medical personnel are a gift from God and should be honoured to get the best of what God has to offer from their wealth of knowledge. ( 1Tim5;23) . This often requires a lifestyle change , physical exercises , emotional healing , a good dietary habit ( Ps103;5) and better hygiene practice .

Prayer : Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power for divine healing in Jesus name.

CONSEQUENCES OF LACK OF FAITH

It is the substance ( title deed) of things hoped for ,the evidence of things not seen (Hebrew 11:1) .The Bible warns against not having faith in God. Lack of faith is equal to calling God a liar and untrustworthy. COMMON CAUSES OF DISUNITY.

Proverbs 29:22 NLTBible        Disunity is defined as : disagreement and conflict within a group. It is the greatest hindrance to the promotion of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Disunity creates an avenue for Satan to promote sin.       The causes of disunity are not farfetched ,they include : Unhealthy Crave for power or self- promotion. Whenever there is an unhealthy pursuit of influence in a family or group it results in resistance. Self-promotion gives birth to unfair practices and injustices. In Numbers 12: 1-15  Moses' sister Miriam and Aaron rebelled against him desiring to rule by force and in Numbers 16 :1-35 Korah led an insurrection against Moses desiring to be part of leadership.
