LOOK ON THE BRIGHTER SIDE

    "I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.”

John 16:33 NLTBible

   The word 'overcome' is the Greek word 'nikaō ' it  means to conquer , carry off the victory, come off victorious . It means Jesus Christ is victorious over all His foes and the same goes for the  believers  that hold fast their faith even unto death against the power of their foes,  and temptations and persecutions.  The devil constantly  accuses the believer and seeks for legal grounds to posses the souls of his victims . Through Jesus Christ -our great advocate- we have won the case and can now maintain our course in line with the fulfilment of our purpose in life . 

    With this understanding the spirit of the believer cannot be summoned by any voodoo , magician or enchanter. We have the backing of heaven and the Spirit of the risen Christ dwells in us . That's why it is absolutely impossible for the born again spirit-filled believer to be cursed or possessed by a demon. The reverse is the case . We are Superior to demons  because the supreme one is in us.  

    It is through sufferings that it becomes clearer to all that we are a different indomitable breed of humanity . This should give us comfort , the bible says " I have the highest confidence in you, and I take great pride in you. You have greatly encouraged me and made me happy despite all our troubles."2 Corinthians 7:4 NLTBible

Nothing gladdens the heart of a pastor as a believer waxing strong in the faith despite life's troubles , such persons are great assets to a ministry .  The scripture says " Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again—rejoice! " Philippians 4:4 NLTBible

     You are blessed with every imaginable blessing mentioned in the scriptures , God speaks well of you and has invested so much in you not to watch you fail and be wasted.  

   Like a soldier on a special assignment with victory assured ,you are being prepared and equipped with experience and skills for sustainable progress. That is the reason behind the troubles we face daily .

     The scriptures say " God blesses those who are persecuted for doing right, for the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs. “God blesses you when people mock you and persecute you and lie about you and say all sorts of evil things against you because you are my followers.  Be happy about it! Be very glad! For a great reward awaits you in heaven. And remember, the ancient prophets were persecuted in the same way."Matthew 5:10‭-‬12 NLTBible   There is an earthly and heavenly reward for the trials ,tribulations we pass through on earth . The more trouble you face the more the experience with the anointing of the Holy Ghost . Always look on the brighter side of things and you shall not be disappointed . 

    Prayer : Heavenly father forgive me of my  sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Ghost and power to remain stable and joyful in the face of crisis in Jesus name.

CONSEQUENCES OF LACK OF FAITH

COMMON CAUSES OF DISUNITY.

Proverbs 29:22 NLTBible        Disunity is defined as : disagreement and conflict within a group. It is the greatest hindrance to the promotion of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Disunity creates an avenue for Satan to promote sin.       The causes of disunity are not farfetched ,they include : Unhealthy Crave for power or self- promotion. Whenever there is an unhealthy pursuit of influence in a family or group it results in resistance. Self-promotion gives birth to unfair practices and injustices. In Numbers 12: 1-15  Moses' sister Miriam and Aaron rebelled against him desiring to rule by force and in Numbers 16 :1-35 Korah led an insurrection against Moses desiring to be part of leadership.
