CONFESSION OF FAULTS TO ONE ANOTHER AND HEALING

“I also tell you this: If two of you agree here on earth concerning anything you ask, my Father in heaven will do it for you.  For where two or three gather together as my followers, I am there among them.”

   There are situations where one needs to pray with others before a breakthrough can be achieved . Job's friends were instructed by the lord to give their offerings to Job who prayed for them . They were arrogant and presumptuous and portrayed a "holier than you " attitude towards Job during the latter's travail. They frustrated job by their judgemental counsel. They needed Job's forgiveness and his prayers to overcome pride and receive restoration  (Job 42:1-10)

   Whenever the lord rebukes us of our pride it is best to ask a mature believer to pray for us to overcome pride . Our breakthroughs are  connected to this act of humility . The bible says " Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results." James 5:16 NLT

  It is important we be humble when pointing out other's fault . " Gently instruct those who oppose the truth. Perhaps God will change those people’s hearts, and they will learn the truth.""  2 Timothy 2:25 NLT 

      To receive restoration you have to "Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up in honor." James 4:10 NLT and  " So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time he will lift you up in honor." 1 Peter 5:6 NLT

   To receive restoration we should learn to  submit in humility . The scriptures says " Jesus told them, “In this world the kings and great men Lord it over their people, yet they are called ‘friends of the people.’  But among you it will be different. Those who are the greatest among you should take the lowest rank, and the leader should be like a servant." Luke 22:25‭-‬26 NLTBible 

   Humility requires we be accountable to one another . Spouses who are accountable to each other tend to be stronger together.  And further, submit to one another out of reverence for Christ. " Ephesians 5:21 NLT

 To do this we are instructed  to ' Live in harmony with each other. Don’t be too proud to enjoy the company of ordinary people. And don’t think you know it all! Romans 12:16 NLT

   Faith for healing and breakthrough requires walking in love . The bible says " Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other." Romans 12:10 NLT

Prayer : Heavenly father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Ghost and power for uncommon breakthroughs in Jesus name.

CONSEQUENCES OF LACK OF FAITH

Believe!”John 20:27 NLTBible     Faith is the guarantee of the manifestation an unseen reality . It is the reason behind the hope we have in God and the fulfilment of his promises. It is the substance ( title deed) of things hoped for ,the evidence of things not seen (Hebrew 11:1) .The Bible warns against not having faith in God. Lack of faith is equal to calling God a liar and untrustworthy. COMMON CAUSES OF DISUNITY.

Proverbs 29:22 NLTBible        Disunity is defined as : disagreement and conflict within a group. It is the greatest hindrance to the promotion of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Disunity creates an avenue for Satan to promote sin.       The causes of disunity are not farfetched ,they include : Unhealthy Crave for power or self- promotion. Whenever there is an unhealthy pursuit of influence in a family or group it results in resistance. Self-promotion gives birth to unfair practices and injustices. In Numbers 12: 1-15  Moses' sister Miriam and Aaron rebelled against him desiring to rule by force and in Numbers 16 :1-35 Korah led an insurrection against Moses desiring to be part of leadership.
