TRIALS AND TESTS PROMOTES

" That is why he broke them with hard labor; they fell, and no one was there to help them. “ Lord , help!” they cried in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress." Psalms 107:12‭-‬13 NLTBible 

  A trial is a test of the performance, qualities, or suitability of someone or something in the performance of a job. It is commonly believed that all difficulties come from the devil but the bible says the lord "broke them with hard labour "  and " I will no longer drive out the nations that Joshua left unconquered when he died. I did this to test Israel—to see whether or not they would follow the ways of the Lord as their ancestors did.” That is why the Lord left those nations in place. He did not quickly drive them out or allow Joshua to conquer them all." Judges 2:21‭-‬23 NLTBible

    The lord kept adversaries in the land to prove his people. Through adversity he gets our attention ( Job36:15) some of our enemies are sent by the Lord to keep us on our toes.  They are needed in the preparation process of our table - platform for success  . Without the enemies there will be no preparation of tables ( Psalm 23:6) .

   Trials are designed to prove our love for the lord . " do not listen to them. The Lord your God is testing you to see if you truly love him with all your heart and soul. Serve only the Lord your God and fear him alone. Obey his commands, listen to his voice, and cling to him." Deuteronomy 13:3‭-‬4 NLT

 They are designed to draw us closer to the Lord . " My suffering was good for me, for it taught me to pay attention to your decrees. Your instructions are more valuable to me than millions in gold and silver." Psalms 119:71‭-‬72 NLTBible with this understanding king David said "Joyful are those you discipline, Lord , those you teach with your instructions." Psalms 94:12 NLTBible 

   Some times instead of going from church to church praying for deliverance, it is best to pray 'let your will be  done oh Lord'. We cannot pray our way out of a God- ordained trial . Trials eliminate unwanted appetite from a child of God. "  He cuts off every branch of mine that doesn’t produce fruit, and he prunes the branches that do bear fruit so they will produce even more."John 15:2 NLTbible.  You cannot repent from a habit if you are not willing to give up the  love or appetite for it. Trial separate us from persons with negative influence on our lives     Trials makes us more useful in the Lord's vineyard . We are likened to jars of clay and marred vessels will have to be remade. This involves breaking it into pieces, which is quite an unpleasant process. We have to be broken in to pieces for us to be remade in to a better us.  The bible says "But the jar he was making did not turn out as he had hoped, so he crushed it into a lump of clay again and started over."Jeremiah 18:4 NLTBible

    This process is necessary for the assignment ahead of  us  " He fed you with manna in the wilderness, a food unknown to your ancestors. He did this to humble you and test you for your own good." Deuteronomy 8:16 NLTBible

Prayer : Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you , I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Ghost and power for stability and excellence .

CONSEQUENCES OF LACK OF FAITH

Believe!”John 20:27 NLTBible     Faith is the guarantee of the manifestation an unseen reality . It is the reason behind the hope we have in God and the fulfilment of his promises. It is the substance ( title deed) of things hoped for ,the evidence of things not seen (Hebrew 11:1) .The Bible warns against not having faith in God. Lack of faith is equal to calling God a liar and untrustworthy. COMMON CAUSES OF DISUNITY.

Proverbs 29:22 NLTBible        Disunity is defined as : disagreement and conflict within a group. It is the greatest hindrance to the promotion of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Disunity creates an avenue for Satan to promote sin.       The causes of disunity are not farfetched ,they include : Unhealthy Crave for power or self- promotion. Whenever there is an unhealthy pursuit of influence in a family or group it results in resistance. Self-promotion gives birth to unfair practices and injustices. In Numbers 12: 1-15  Moses' sister Miriam and Aaron rebelled against him desiring to rule by force and in Numbers 16 :1-35 Korah led an insurrection against Moses desiring to be part of leadership.
