GIVE NO ROOM FOR FEAR

 'The Lord is for me, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me? "Psalms 118:6 NLTBible  
  Fear is an unpleasant emotion caused by the threat of danger, pain, or harm. It is different from the natural instinctive fright needed for survival . Fear can lead to bondage , the Bible says " Only in this way could he set free all who have lived their lives as slaves to the fear of dying." Hebrews 2:15 NLT Bible . The fear of humans results in life threatening trauma " Fearing people is a dangerous trap, but trusting the Lord means safety."Proverbs 29:25 NLTBible This results in spiritual , emotional and physical weakness resulting in major financial crisis as a result of dwindling creativity . Fear is a major cause of impotency amongst men . Fear weakens our immune system and cause cardiovascular damages, gastrointestinal problems such as ulcers and irritable bowel syndrome, and decreased fertility. It results in  accelerated ageing and even premature death.  Fear quenches zeal for advancement and creates a defeatist attitude. A defeated soul always has an excuse for not taking positive life-changing actions needed for success . This was the cause of the failures of Joshuah's army " No wonder our hearts have melted in fear! No one has the courage to fight after hearing such things.....Joshua 2:11 NLT Bible Fear is a major hindrance to the preaching of the gospel , many preachers are trapped by fear as they struggle to preach the gospel. " Many people did believe in him, however, including some of the Jewish leaders. But they wouldn’t admit it for fear that the Pharisees would expel them from the synagogue. For they loved human praise more than the praise of God. John 12:42‭-‬43 NLTBible Joseph was a secret disciple for fear of the extreme Jews "Afterward Joseph of Arimathea, who had been a secret disciple of Jesus (because he feared the Jewish leaders), asked Pilate for permission to take down Jesus’ body. When Pilate gave permission, Joseph came and took the body away".John 19:38 NLTBible Fear results in rebellion against God .King Saul disobeyed God because of fear "Then Saul admitted to Samuel, “Yes, I have sinned. I have disobeyed your instructions and the Lord ’s command, for I was afraid of the people and did what they demanded." 1 Samuel 15:24 NLTBible Fear torments and affects a person's mental health . (1John4:8) False prophets control their victims with fear that's why we have more sick mentally deranged persons wherever such  preachers abound  . 
   Fear can crystalize in to physical pain that could damage internal body organs . (Psalm 48:6) Fear can damage a person's nervous system resulting in tremors and high blood pressure " Fear and trembling overwhelm me, and I can’t stop shaking." Psalms 55:5 NLTBible Fear can metamorphose in to a physical phenomenon, most of life's crisis we often attribute to curses and witches are actually created by us through fear "I will send them great trouble— all the things they feared. For when I called, they did not answer. When I spoke, they did not listen. They deliberately sinned before my very eyes and chose to do what they know I despise.”Isaiah 66:4 NLTBible. Fear is like a magnet that attracts those things we fear towards us . Job brought upon himself the things he feared "What I always feared has happened to me. What I dreaded has come true." Job 3:25 NLTBible and fear can pass from person to person. Keeping a relationship with a person full of fears can be counter productive . Whenever a person stays far away from the Gospel, fear is inevitable . Through the Gospel we recognise that God is bigger than whatever we fear "Look, I have given you authority over all the power of the enemy, and you can walk among snakes and scorpions and crush them. Nothing will injure you." Luke 10:19 NLTBible God says "Do not fear people's faces And don’t be afraid of the people, for I will be with you and will protect you. CONSEQUENCES OF LACK OF FAITH

Believe!”John 20:27 NLTBible     Faith is the guarantee of the manifestation an unseen reality . It is the reason behind the hope we have in God and the fulfilment of his promises. It is the substance ( title deed) of things hoped for ,the evidence of things not seen (Hebrew 11:1) .The Bible warns against not having faith in God. Lack of faith is equal to calling God a liar and untrustworthy. COMMON CAUSES OF DISUNITY.

Proverbs 29:22 NLTBible        Disunity is defined as : disagreement and conflict within a group. It is the greatest hindrance to the promotion of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Disunity creates an avenue for Satan to promote sin.       The causes of disunity are not farfetched ,they include : Unhealthy Crave for power or self- promotion. Whenever there is an unhealthy pursuit of influence in a family or group it results in resistance. Self-promotion gives birth to unfair practices and injustices. In Numbers 12: 1-15  Moses' sister Miriam and Aaron rebelled against him desiring to rule by force and in Numbers 16 :1-35 Korah led an insurrection against Moses desiring to be part of leadership.
