RAISING CHILDREN WITH GREAT REPUTATION

  Children are the future and they can affect our lives positively or negatively. God's will is for us to have a peaceful retirement at old age it is for that reason that children should be taught to respect authority. A child with no respect for authority is known as a rebel and unwise . 

     A rebel cannot be trusted ,this is a major setback in business and seeking for jobs. The scriptures says " Trusting a fool to convey a message is like cutting off one’s feet or drinking poison!" Proverbs 26:6 NLT  They cannot follow through procedures, they lack appetite for knowledge .The scriptures says " A single rebuke does more for a person of understanding than a hundred lashes on the back of a fool. Evil people are eager for rebellion, but they will be severely punished."Proverbs 17:10‭-‬11 NLTBible 

    Rebels are prone to danger with self -destructive tendencies " Corrupt people walk a thorny, treacherous road; whoever values life will avoid it " Prov22:5 NLT Bible the Bible also says " The words of the godly encourage many, but fools are destroyed by their lack of common sense." Proverbs 10:21 NLTBible  Rebels cannot control their temper " Fools vent their anger, but the wise quietly hold it back." Proverbs 29:11 NLTBible 

     Rebels are terrible at teaching the gospel 

     "Wisdom is too lofty for fools. Among leaders at the city gate, they have nothing to say."Proverbs 24:7 NLT Bible,  they are often the loudest in an argument .

   A rebel has a reputation for dishonesty " Eloquent words are not fitting for a fool; even less are lies fitting for a ruler." Proverbs 17:7 NLT Bible,  therefore,  they lack leadership skills because they are blinded to the facts  'Fools have no interest in understanding; they only want to air their own opinions." Proverbs 18:2 NLTBible . 

    Parents should spend quality time with and encourage their children to participate in daily bible studies , prayer and fasting at least once a month , receive Holy Ghost baptism and be selective about the types of friends their children make. Do not discourage them by being too harsh . Learn to speak to them consequentially using your past errors and pains as examples .Avoid being Mr or Mrs Perfect to your children .

 Children should not be allowed to always have their way ,this fuels rebellion . Parents should demonstrate the importance of authority by being under spiritual authority. Discipline them when necessary . Rebellion is highly contagious . In our  prayers we should ask the lord to grant us wisdom to raise godly children by becoming godly role models. 
Prayer :Heavenly father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Ghost and power for a glorious future in Jesus name.

CONSEQUENCES OF LACK OF FAITH

Believe!”John 20:27 NLTBible     Faith is the guarantee of the manifestation an unseen reality . It is the reason behind the hope we have in God and the fulfilment of his promises. It is the substance ( title deed) of things hoped for ,the evidence of things not seen (Hebrew 11:1) .The Bible warns against not having faith in God. COMMON CAUSES OF DISUNITY.

Proverbs 29:22 NLTBible        Disunity is defined as : disagreement and conflict within a group. It is the greatest hindrance to the promotion of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Disunity creates an avenue for Satan to promote sin.       The causes of disunity are not farfetched ,they include : Unhealthy Crave for power or self- promotion. Whenever there is an unhealthy pursuit of influence in a family or group it results in resistance. Self-promotion gives birth to unfair practices and injustices. In Numbers 12: 1-15  Moses' sister Miriam and Aaron rebelled against him desiring to rule by force and in Numbers 16 :1-35 Korah led an insurrection against Moses desiring to be part of leadership.
