CONDITIONS FOR ABUNDANT SUPPLIES

"Even while we were with you, we gave you this command: “Those unwilling to work will not get to eat.” Yet we hear that some of you are living idle lives, refusing to work and meddling in other people’s business. We command such people and urge them in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ to settle down and work to earn their own living."2 Thessalonians 3:10‭-‬12 NLTBible

    God loves us and it is his will to supply your needs . The scriptures says he knows what we have need of before we ask (Matt6:8) Therefore. we should take no thoughts or be worried on how we can make ends meet ( Matt6:25,31,32) God provides for the wicked unbelievers  (Matt5:45) and animals . If he cares for them how much more the believer. 

Wild animals like lions have to hunt for prey ,likewise , we have a role to play in the supply of our needs. 

  Supplies can be hindered by unrepentant sin  or disobedience , the bible says " Your wickedness has deprived you of these wonderful blessings. Your sin has robbed you of all these good things." Jeremiah 5:25 NLTBible The lack of faith in God and ones abilities also results in a lack of supplies 

   The bible says "You want what you don’t have, so you scheme and kill to get it. You are jealous of what others have, but you can’t get it, so you fight and wage war to take it away from them. Yet you don’t have what you want because you don’t ask God for it."James 4:2 NLTBible and " But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind. Such people should not expect to receive anything from the Lord." James 1:6‭-‬7 NLTBible . Faith requires work (physical and spiritual )

   Refusal to work because of laziness results in lack in supplies . "Even while we were with you, we gave you this command: “Those unwilling to work will not get to eat.” 2 Thessalonians 3:10 NLTBible. God blesses diligent work ( Prov.10:4, Prov 28:19 ) Corruption by government officials is a major source of poverty in society; God will deliver us from them and such officials will not go unpunished Psalm ( 107:39-41)

    Sometimes ,as part of our spiritual training we experience limited supplies so we can learn to be dependent on God only for provisions ( Deut.31:20, Pro. 30:8,9) .

  In some other cases when a person's assignment is completed in a place, lack of supplies could mean it is time to move to a new place of assignment. When it was time to move to a new place , God caused the brook that supplied water to Elijah to dry up ( 2Kings 8:1-2, Gen Ruth 1:1-6,16-18)  

   Prayer : Heavenly father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Ghost and power for creativity and fruitfulness in Jesus name.

CONSEQUENCES OF LACK OF FAITH

COMMON CAUSES OF DISUNITY.

Proverbs 29:22 NLTBible        Disunity is defined as : disagreement and conflict within a group. It is the greatest hindrance to the promotion of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Disunity creates an avenue for Satan to promote sin.       The causes of disunity are not farfetched ,they include : Unhealthy Crave for power or self- promotion. Whenever there is an unhealthy pursuit of influence in a family or group it results in resistance. Self-promotion gives birth to unfair practices and injustices. In Numbers 12: 1-15  Moses' sister Miriam and Aaron rebelled against him desiring to rule by force and in Numbers 16 :1-35 Korah led an insurrection against Moses desiring to be part of leadership.
