SPIRITUAL WARFARE

'For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,"II Corinthians 10:3‭-‬5 NKJV

    Humanity is engaged in a spiritual warfare ,on one side is Satan and his demons seeking for souls to take along with him to hell . On the other side is God's people with a mission to spread the gospel of the kingdom and win souls for the Lord. 

    The battle is for the control of the human mind :  a person is either under the influence of the Holy Ghost or Satan and it is in our place to chose who should take control over our minds and indirectly our lives . This happens through our thoughts and most importantly our words . There is a war of words taking place in our minds ( Eph6:12-13) 

   We are to resist Satanic thoughts and give no room for the devil in our minds .(Ephesians 4:27, 1 Pet5:9) We should always be on guard when confronting the devil . This requires prayer and fasting while meditating on God's word ( Mark9:29) The Bible says "Or how can one enter a strong man’s house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man? And then he will plunder his house."Matthew 12:29 NKJV 

  Spiritual warfare is serious business and by the Holy Ghost we are guaranteed victory while holding on to God's promises . The scriptures says " Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you." Luke 10:19 NKJVBible

 It also says " And the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen."

Romans 16:20 NKJV Bible

    It is expected that a person be filled with the Holy Ghost before confronting satanic entities to avoid a backlash. The bible says “When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’  Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there; and the last state of that man is worse than the first.”Luke 11:24‭, ‬26 NKJVBible 

  Demons know persons who are living by the Holy Ghost and those who practice religion while denying the power of God.  It is for this reason that a person should receive the Holy Ghost after giving his or her life to Jesus Christ. 

    Prayer : Heavenly father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Ghost and power to break the strongholds of the enemy in Jesus name.

CONSEQUENCES OF LACK OF FAITH

It is the substance ( title deed) of things hoped for ,the evidence of things not seen (Hebrew 11:1) .The Bible warns against not having faith in God. COMMON CAUSES OF DISUNITY.

Proverbs 29:22 NLTBible        Disunity is defined as : disagreement and conflict within a group. It is the greatest hindrance to the promotion of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Disunity creates an avenue for Satan to promote sin.       The causes of disunity are not farfetched ,they include : Unhealthy Crave for power or self- promotion. Whenever there is an unhealthy pursuit of influence in a family or group it results in resistance. Self-promotion gives birth to unfair practices and injustices. In Numbers 12: 1-15  Moses' sister Miriam and Aaron rebelled against him desiring to rule by force and in Numbers 16 :1-35 Korah led an insurrection against Moses desiring to be part of leadership.
