PRACTICAL SOLUTIONS TO FINANCIAL PROBLEMS.

  " If you are a thief, quit stealing. Instead, use your hands for good hard work, and then give generously to others in need."Ephesians 4:28 NLTBible 

     There are two ways by which financial problems are solved 1) stealing 2) through honest work . 

   Growing up as a christian in the 80's whenever a person wanted to dedicate a new vehicle or a house  to God he or she would be required to tell the church his means of income . This served as a check for thieves pretending to be saints and preachers then pursued honesty and Christian character over spectacular ministries .

      Christians are the living epistles and are mandated to promote honesty in the society . Decay in a society begins when preachers deemphasize the importance of honest work by dedicating homes, cars, businesses without seeking to know the sources of income of parishioners. This is one of the reasons why preachers are being ridiculed especially in my country . 

    Church members become confused whenever a preacher eulogizes a known thief and they lose confidence in the church existing as a moral compass for the society . Such preachers will give account before the lord on judgement day " When you see thieves, you approve of them, and you spend your time with adulterers."Psalms 50:18 NLTBible. 

   These preachers by their actions promote marital infidelity and economic sabotage .It is for this reason that Christians are instructed to do honest work. This is how you earn respect , there is dignity in labour and God does not want  us being a financial liability to anyone . "Make it your goal to live a quiet life, minding your own business and working with your hands, just as we instructed you before. Then people who are not believers will respect the way you live, and you will not need to depend on others.

    Every Christian should have a job and an investment, no matter how little it is in addition to the job. God blesses the works of our hands . I know of a lady who was able to pay her tuition through tertiary school by selling a tray of fresh tomatoes and pepper. She soon became a supplier to a large hotel and so she increased her business. Money for a business could be gotten from gifts , a loan or sale of a property or item you have no immediate need for.

   While in pursuit of financial freedom we should keep our priorities right , nothing should take God's place in our lives , "So don’t be dismayed when the wicked grow rich and their homes become ever more splendid. For when they die, they take nothing with them. Their wealth will not follow them into the grave."Psalms 49:16‭-‬17 NLTBible. (see Luke12:15) 

    We are warned against neglecting our calling for winning souls for the kingdom and promotion of missionary work while pursuing riches . (Haggai1:6-9) 

  We are not called to accumulate wealth but to be contented .(1Tim 6:8 ) The wealth you possess should be in proportion to your responsibilities and we shall give account before the Lord. 

Prayer : Heavenly father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Ghost and power for extraordinary financial breakthroughs in Jesus name.

CONSEQUENCES OF LACK OF FAITH

Believe!”John 20:27 NLTBible     Faith is the guarantee of the manifestation an unseen reality . It is the reason behind the hope we have in God and the fulfilment of his promises. It is the substance ( title deed) of things hoped for ,the evidence of things not seen (Hebrew 11:1) .The Bible warns against not having faith in God. Lack of faith is equal to calling God a liar and untrustworthy. COMMON CAUSES OF DISUNITY.

Proverbs 29:22 NLTBible        Disunity is defined as : disagreement and conflict within a group. It is the greatest hindrance to the promotion of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Disunity creates an avenue for Satan to promote sin.       The causes of disunity are not farfetched ,they include : Unhealthy Crave for power or self- promotion. Whenever there is an unhealthy pursuit of influence in a family or group it results in resistance. Self-promotion gives birth to unfair practices and injustices. In Numbers 12: 1-15  Moses' sister Miriam and Aaron rebelled against him desiring to rule by force and in Numbers 16 :1-35 Korah led an insurrection against Moses desiring to be part of leadership.
