HOW TO BE STRONG IN YOUR FAITH.

"So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal."

2 Corinthians 4:18 NIV

Faith is the substance of the unseen reality . It is the substance ( title deed) of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen ( Hebrew 11:1) 

   Faith is to human beings what electricity is to electronic devices . Without electricity electronic devices are dead likewise without faith nothing works . We are saved by faith .The bible says "... whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16 NIVBible and " For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. "Ephesians 2:8‭-‬9 NIVBible 

   Our existence is by faith ( Gal.2:20) our victory over the devil is by faith in Jesus Christ ( 1John5:4) and it is impossible to please God  without faith (Heb11:6) and whatever we achieve without faith is an abomination before God. The strength to make progress in the face of adversity comes from our faith in God . David was on the verge of destruction by king Saul and he said ' I  would  have  lost  heart, unless I had believed That I would see the goodness of the Lord In the land of the living."Psalms 27:13 NKJVBible 

  Your future is blessed ,it is too strong and glorious to allow you get consumed by your present challenges . You already have the victory . God's promises are sure and comes with guarantees (2Pet1:19)

    The bible shows us how to grow in faith . Faith is a fruit of the Holy Ghost and is given when we ask in prayers with sincerity ( Mark 1:15; 2 Peter 1:19) 

   God has given every human being faith but they exist in various degrees or intensity ( Rom.12;3) Faith can be dead ( James 2:17, little ( Luke12:28, Matt16:8 ), great (Matt8:10) . Faith starts growing when we accept Jesus Christ as lord and saviour and surrender our bodies to him as instruments of righteousness. 

  The word of God is the righteousness of God. Every time we read or listen to God's word our faith begins to grow " So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." Romans 10:17 NKJV (John20:30;31, Acts15:7)

   Listening to the testimonies of the saints also nourishes our faith and it grows ( John 4:28-30,39) .Miraculous interventions by the lord inspires those who hear about our testimonies ( Acts 9:36-42) increasing faith

     The reward of growing faith is that we have access to God's power ( Rom5:2) and our conviction in Jesus Christ becomes stronger . 

  Strong conviction results in stability in marriage, business and finances ,ministry etc (Psalm125:1) it also leads to protection against the devil's attacks (Eph6:16)  and overwhelming joy (Psalm146:5) from fulfilled  heart's desires (Psalm 37:4-5) 

   Other benefits of growing faith is unlimited provisions ( Psalm33:18,19, Jer.17 :7,8)  and a sound health ( Mark10;51,52; Psalm 42:11) Through faith we experience the resurrection power of God (John11:25,26) overcoming the fear of death.

  Prayer : Heavenly father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Ghost and power to work miracles in Jesus name.

CONSEQUENCES OF LACK OF FAITH

COMMON CAUSES OF DISUNITY.

Proverbs 29:22 NLTBible        Disunity is defined as : disagreement and conflict within a group. It is the greatest hindrance to the promotion of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Disunity creates an avenue for Satan to promote sin.       The causes of disunity are not farfetched ,they include : Unhealthy Crave for power or self- promotion. Whenever there is an unhealthy pursuit of influence in a family or group it results in resistance. Self-promotion gives birth to unfair practices and injustices. In Numbers 12: 1-15  Moses' sister Miriam and Aaron rebelled against him desiring to rule by force and in Numbers 16 :1-35 Korah led an insurrection against Moses desiring to be part of leadership.
