HOW TO AVOID DELAY IN HEALING

Jesus told him, “Stand up, pick up your mat, and walk!” But afterward Jesus found him in the Temple and told him, “Now you are well; so stop sinning, or something even worse may happen to you.” John 5:8‭, ‬14 NLTbible 

   It is God's will to be healed and we have a role to play in receiving and maintaining our healing . Classic car owners can maintain a car for over two hundred years and this requires proper preservation and maintenance , likewise the human body requires proper preservation and maintenance to remain healthy . 

   When the man in John 5 obeyed the Lord's command he received his healing "  Jesus told him, “Stand up, pick up your mat, and walk!” Instantly, the man was healed! He rolled up his sleeping mat and began walking! But this miracle happened on the Sabbath, "John 5:8‭-‬9 NLTbible  The bible says ' He sent out his word and healed them, snatching them from the door of death." Psalms 107:20 NLTbible

   Healing is sustained as long as we live in obedience to God's word, disobedience leads to sickness retuning. " .. listen carefully to what God the Lord is saying, for he speaks peace to his faithful people. But let them not return to their foolish ways." Psalms 85:8 NLT. 

    The bible says "Then the man went and told the Jewish leaders that it was Jesus who had healed him." John 5:15 NLTbible. He began telling people about what the lord has done for him . Sharing your testimony builds your faith and keeps sickness from coming back . The bible says "But Jesus said, “No, go home to your family, and tell them everything the Lord has done for you and how merciful he has been.”Mark 5:19 NLTbible

After healing the sick he instructed they share their testimonies with their families and friends. Testifying publicly about your healing keeps it from coming back . 
  Sharing our testimonies publicly strengthens our faith . The disciples were quick to let the public know who was behind the healing of the sick in their missionary work " Let me clearly state to all of you and to all the people of Israel that he was healed by the powerful name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, the man you crucified but whom God raised from the dead." Acts 4:10 NLTbible this a principle to working in miraculous healing. 
   Returning back to sinful habits hinders our healing " Listen! The Lord ’s arm is not too weak to save you, nor is his ear too deaf to hear you call. It’s your sins that have cut you off from God. Because of your sins, he has turned away and will not listen anymore.
" Isaiah 59:1‭-‬2 NLT 
  Placing yourself above correction is an indication of pride and this hinders healing , Apostle said ' even though I have received such wonderful revelations from God. So to keep me from becoming proud, I was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger from Satan to torment me and keep me from becoming proud. Three different times I begged the Lord to take it away. Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. .." 2Cor.12:7-9 NLT 
Prayer:
 Heavenly father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as Lord and saviour and receive the Holy Ghost and power to heal the sick in Jesus name.

CONSEQUENCES OF LACK OF FAITH

COMMON CAUSES OF DISUNITY.

Proverbs 29:22 NLTBible        Disunity is defined as : disagreement and conflict within a group. It is the greatest hindrance to the promotion of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Disunity creates an avenue for Satan to promote sin.       The causes of disunity are not farfetched ,they include : Unhealthy Crave for power or self- promotion. Whenever there is an unhealthy pursuit of influence in a family or group it results in resistance. Self-promotion gives birth to unfair practices and injustices. In Numbers 12: 1-15  Moses' sister Miriam and Aaron rebelled against him desiring to rule by force and in Numbers 16 :1-35 Korah led an insurrection against Moses desiring to be part of leadership.
